Le jeune quarterback rookie des Colts, Anthony Richardson, sera le titulaire pour le premier match de la saison régulière.<\/h2>

Au fil des semaines qui passent et du camp d’entraînement, Anthony Richardson<\/a> semblait de plus en plus se rapprocher du poste de quarterback titulaire au détriment de Gardner Minshew qui est lui aussi arrivé chez les Colts lors de cette intersaison 2023. Mais les rôles sont désormais clarifiés et c’est bien le rookie Richardson qui sera au centre de l’attaque des Colts lors du premier match de saison régulière.<\/p>

Le choix du premier tour des Colts lors de cette draft NFL 2023 est donc parvenu à convaincre le nouvel entraîneur des Colts Shane Steichen<\/a> qui a confirmé la nouvelle. L’ancien quarterback de l’université de Florida a joué 12 matchs la saison dernière avec un pourcentage de complétion de 53.8% mais aussi 17 touchdowns et 9 interceptions.<\/p>

Malgre un premier match de pré-saison délicat, Richardson a donc réussi à gagner le poste de titulaire lors du camp d’entraînement. En tout logique, Gardner Minshew sera donc le backup. Rendez vous dans un mois à domicile contre les Jacksonville Jaguars pour voir les premiers pas d’Anthony Richardson en saison régulière.<\/p>
