Ce nom ne vous est peut être pas familier mais John Metchie III a une vraie belle histoire à raconter.<\/h2>

Le 4 décembre 2021, il se rompt les ligaments croisés du genou lors de la finale SEC contre Georgia. Malgré cela, John Metchie III est repêché par les Hoston Texans à sa sortie d’Alabama au deuxième tour. Mais sa saison rookie ne se passera pas comme prévue.<\/p>

En effet, le diagnostique tombe : il souffre d’une leucémie.<\/p>

Un an plus tard, il est de retour sur les terrains et s’apprête à jouer son premier match depuis cette fameuse finale en 2021.<\/p>

La foi comme guide<\/strong><\/h3>

Pendant cette année éprouvante, John Metchie III<\/strong><\/a> s’est reposé sur sa foi pour passer cette étape de la vie. Malgré un type de cancer qui se soigne « facilement », Metchie est reconnaissant :<\/p>

« J’ai été béni et très reconnaissant d’avoir l’une des formes de cancer les plus guérissables. » déclare-t-il <\/a>. « Comme vous le voyez, je n’ai pas perdu mes cheveux et beaucoup de choses comme ça. Donc, j’étais très reconnaissant. Je suis très béni pour ça. Mais au tout début, quand vous êtes diagnostiqué, une partie très difficile, c’est la partie la plus critique. Vous ne pouvez compter que sur votre foi dans ces situations lorsque vous êtes confronté à votre propre mortalité. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

L’encadrement des Texans a salué la ténacité du joueur et son professionnalisme durant cette période difficile.<\/p>

Le 10 aout : le retour<\/h3>

La date du 10 août doit être marqué sur le calendrier de John Metchie III. Il s’agira de son retour sur un terrain de football, face aux Patriots de Mac Jones.<\/p>

la franchise s’attend à ce que Metchie soit un vrai contributeur à une attaque en mal de performance sur le plan de la passe. Avec un nouveau quarterback, les choses pourrait s’améliorer rapidement dans le Texas. l’an dernier la franchise avait terminé à la 26è pour les réceptions (176), 28è pour les yards des receveurs (2 154) et 28è en touchdown (9).<\/p>

Quoi qu’il en soit, tous le monde est ravi de son retour dans l’équipe quelque soit sa production future :<\/p>
