16 points hier, 20 mardi soir : les Cubs sont bien l’équipe la plus en vue de la MLB.<\/h2>

Hier soir, les Cubs ont réalisé à nouveau une explosion offensive incroyable : 16 points avec 5 home runs dans la rencontre. On le sait, la période post-All Star Game est souvent révélatrice des forces présentes mais surtout à venir dans la grande ligue.<\/p>

Alors que la course à la Wild Card, et peut-être mieux pour les Cubs, débute, leurs performances indiquent clairement leurs intentions pour le mois d’octobre. Et comme David Ross l’indique : « Nous n’avons encore rien accompli ».<\/em><\/p>

Une attaque historique<\/h3>

Les Cubs ont en effet démontré leur combativité. Leur récent bilan de 12 victoires et 3 défaites lors des 15 derniers matchs, et un bilan de 29-17 depuis le 9 juin, les place tout près des Reds et des Brewers dans leur division. Cette amélioration a été largement portée par une performance offensive explosive depuis la pause All-Star.<\/p>

L’attaque des Cubs a fait preuve d’une vitalité extraordinaire, avec 145 points inscrit depuis la pause, ce qui en fait les meilleurs scoreur de la MLB au cours de cette période et de loin. Une partie importante de ces points ont été marqués au cours des 27 dernières heures, les Cubs ayant marqué 36 points en deux matchs – le plus élevé en si peu de temps depuis 1897<\/a>.<\/p>

Parmi les contributeurs éminents à cette performance passionnante figurent Ian Happ<\/strong><\/a>, Christopher Morel<\/strong><\/a>, Dansby Swanson<\/strong><\/a> et Seiya Suzuki<\/strong><\/a>, qui ont chacun apporté une contribution significative. Jeimer Candelario s’est démarqué, frappant à 4\/4 lors de son deuxième match, un exploit louable qui a apporté une contribution vitale à la performance des Cubs.<\/p>

La performance de Candelario, en particulier, est remarquable. Il est devenu le premier Cub à réussir huit coups sûrs en deux matchs depuis la performance exceptionnelle de Kris Bryant en 2016.<\/p>

Objectif Wild Card…..Ou encore mieux<\/h3>

Le voyage des Cubs est loin d’être terminé. Il reste de nombreux affrontements, y compris des matchs contre Cincinnati et Milwaukee. De plus, les Braves, leaders de la Ligue nationale, se rendront à Wrigley pour un set de trois matchs. Malgré la route difficile à parcourir, les Cubs sont confiants dans leur nouvel élan.<\/p>

Les deux dernières années n’ont pas été facile pour les Cubs. Cependant, cette saison semble promettre un changement de destin. L’atmosphère électrisante de Wrigley Field et l’excitation palpable parmi les fans sont difficiles à ignorer.<\/p>
