Motivé après avoir été nommé MVP de la Summer League de Las Vegas, Cam Whitmore vise un autre trophée à l’issue de la saison.<\/b><\/h2>

Tombé à la 20e place de la Draft alors qu’il pouvait être top 5, Cam Whitmore<\/a> pourrait se révéler être le « steal » de cette cuvée 2023. L’ancien de Villanova avait inquiété les franchises par son historique de blessures, ses workouts décevants et ses entretiens moyens.<\/span><\/p>

Cam Whitmore a commencé à effacer les doutes en Summer League, décrochant le trophée de MVP de celle de Las Vegas. Il a cumulé 19.3 points, 5.2 rebonds et 2.3 passes décisives de moyenne avec les Rockets.<\/span><\/p>

Ce premier trophée individuel lui a donné l’envie d’en remporter d’autres, comme il l’a déclaré à Malika Andrews sur <\/span>le plateau d’ESPN<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>

Je dirais que l’un de mes objectifs individuels est de gagner le titre de Rookie de l’année. J’ai vraiment cet objectif en tête et je peux faire partie de la course. Je n’ai pas seulement les compétences, j’ai aussi la confiance en général. À l’heure actuelle, j’ai la plus grosse palette de compétences de la Draft et je pense que je suis un type d’athlète différent, un athlète explosif auquel personne dans la Draft ne s’est frotté auparavant.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

La concurrence sera rude pour le trophée de Rookie de l’année.
