Alors que l’intersaison de la NBA bat son plein, les yeux se sont tournés vers la direction des Golden State Warriors et leurs plans pour le trio emblématique de l’équipe : Stephen Curry, Draymond Green et Klay Thompson.<\/h2>

Le propriétaire de l’équipe, Joe Lacob, a récemment exprimé son ambition de garder les trois joueurs au sein de la franchise jusqu’à leur retraite. Comme il l’a dit à Madeline Kenney du Mercury News<\/a>,<\/p>

« Nous aimerions certainement que Steph, Draymond et Klay prennent leur retraite en tant que Warriors. C’est mon objectif, notre objectif, et je pense qu’il y a de fortes chances que cela se produise. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Avec Stephen Curry et Draymond Green déjà sous contrat jusqu’en 2025-26 au moins, Klay Thompson devient le centre des pourparlers de prolongation. Entrant actuellement dans la dernière année d’un accord de 190 millions de dollars sur cinq ans en 2023-2024, les négociations pour une prolongation ont été étouffées. Cependant, les perspectives optimistes de Lacob sur l’avenir de Klay Thompson avec les Warriors sont révélatrices de l’intention de la franchise.<\/p>
