John Collins, né dans l’Utah, est heureux de pouvoir prendre un nouveau départ en NBA.<\/b><\/h2>

Après plusieurs années de rumeurs, John Collins<\/a> a changé de franchise. Désormais au Utah Jazz, où il devrait avoir un rôle de 6e homme derrière Lauri Markkanen<\/a> et Walker Kessler<\/a>, Collins est <\/span>heureux <\/span><\/a>d’être dans une équipe où il se sent désiré.<\/span><\/p>

J’étais enthousiaste à l’idée d’aller dans un endroit qui, je le savais, me voulait vraiment et essayait de me récupérer. C’est toujours très agréable d’entendre et de savoir que l’on débarque dans un endroit qui vous veut vraiment et qui veut que vous excelliez. C’est un grand soulagement de savoir que toutes les discussions sont terminées et que je peux aller dans une nouvelle maison et en faire mon nouveau chez-moi. <\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

John Collins a plusieurs fois insisté sur le « soulagement » qu’il ressent depuis son transfert.<\/span><\/p>

C’est un grand soulagement. Il est clair que mon nom faisait l’objet de nombreuses rumeurs et que cela n’a pas été facile. C’est donc une bonne chose d’en finir et de prendre un nouveau départ dans l’Utah. La franchise m’a accueilli à bras ouverts et a essayé de me mettre le plus à l’aise possible. Le fait de pouvoir aller au Delta Center et de saluer les fans – même si tout n’était pas encore officiel… Je voulais quand même être dans les parages et essayer de me faire connaître des fidèles de l’Utah et de commencer ma relation le plus tôt possible.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

Au Jazz, John Collins estime que sa polyvalence va rentrer dans le style de jeu de Will Hardy.<\/span><\/p>

Je ne sais jouer que d’une seule façon. Et s’il y a bien une chose que le coach m’a dite, c’est que les supporters adorent un joueur qui se donne à fond, qui joue avec passion, qui aime le jeu, qui plonge sur le terrain, qui revient en défense pour contrer, qui provoque des passages en force… Je fais tout cela. Au-delà de mes qualités et du basket, la passion fait partie intégrante de mon jeu.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>
