Présent dans l’échange de Bradley Beal de Washington à Phoenix, Jordan Goodwin aura sa chance chez les Suns.<\/b><\/h2>

Bradley Beal<\/a> n’est pas arrivé seul à Phoenix. Deux de ses coéquipiers de Washington l’ont suivi : Isaiah Todd<\/a> et Jordan Goodwin<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>

Goodwin a réalisé sa première saison complète en NBA, après un passage en G-League lors de saison rookie. Le fait de suivre Beal dans cette nouvelle aventure <\/span>est rassurant pour lui<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>

Lorsque j’ai reçu l’appel, j’ai été surpris. Je viens juste d’entrer dans la ligue, donc le fait d’être échangé et ce genre de choses m’a un peu surpris. Mais le fait d’être en contact avec Brad m’a permis de me sentir plus à l’aise, et c’est un peu fou la façon dont le monde fonctionne. C’est mon grand frère depuis si longtemps et notre voyage se poursuit l’un avec l’autre.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

Jordan Goodwin et Bradley Beal se connaissent depuis plusieurs années. Originaires de Saint-Louis, Goodwin a même joué pour le programme AAU de Beal.<\/span><\/p>

J’ai toujours été un chien en défense, surtout dans cette région. En grandissant ici, il faut être costaud. Je pense que ça va bien se passer pour moi. Il suffit d’aller sur le terrain et de faire ce que j’ai à faire, que ce soit lancer l’attaque, poser des écrans, s’ouvrir au cercle ou encore mettre des tirs ouverts. Offensivement, j’ai beaucoup progressé, je tire beaucoup mieux depuis la ligne à 3-points. Je comprends mieux le jeu, j’ai une année entière sous le coude, je ne peux que progresser.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

Bradley Beal comprend aussi que Jordan Goodwin va devoir se montrer au niveau des ambitions de Phoenix. Tout comme Isaiah Todd.<\/span><\/p>

C’est incroyablement rafraîchissant pour eux d’avoir un nouveau regard et une nouvelle opportunité. Je pense que Jordan va en surprendre plus d’un. Beaucoup ne savent peut-être pas qui il est, mais c’est un défenseur tenace qui aime le jeu et qui sera compétitif des deux côtés du terrain. Je pense qu’ils nous aideront tous les deux. Ils n’ont pas été balancés ici pour rien.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>

Comme pour Cameron Payne<\/a>, Frank Vogel a eu un mot pour Jordan Goodwin. L’entraîneur chef des Suns sait comment impliquer tout le monde et que chaque joueur aura un rôle dans la réussite de Phoenix.<\/span><\/p>

C’est un talent très convaincant. Je pense que Bradley faire bien de dire que c’est un défenseur tenace avec une bonne taille et un bon physique. Alors que nous complétons notre effectif, nous voulons nous assurer que nous sommes l’une des équipes les plus physiques et les plus dures de la NBA. Et Jordan représente ça au poste d’arrière, donc je suis impatient de le voir à l’œuvre.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>
