La volonté des Portland Trail Blazers d’encadrer Damian Lillard avec un soutien supplémentaire pourrait conduire à des échanges majeurs avant la Draft<\/h2>

Les Portland Trail Blazers se trouvent à un carrefour. Après deux saisons consécutives sans Playoffs, le All-Star Damian Lillard a exprimé son insatisfaction et la nécessité pour l’équipe de devenir plus compétitive. La direction des Blazers est clairement à l’écoute<\/a>, et deux de leurs atouts les plus précieux, le 3e choix de la prochaine Draft NBA et le jeune Anfernee Simons, sont maintenant sur le marché des échanges.<\/p>

Lillard, bien qu’il ait réaffirmé son désir de rester à Portland, est conscient de la nécessité d’améliorer l’équipe.<\/p>

« J’ai clairement exprimé mes souhaits : je veux pouvoir gagner à Portland et nous avons maintenant l’opportunité, en termes d’éléments, de construire une équipe qui peut être compétitive », a-t-il déclaré.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Cependant, Lillard a également évoqué les complexités d’un éventuel échange.<\/p>

« Portland pourrait m’échanger dans un club que tout le monde verrait comme un candidat au titre. Mais qu’est-ce que ça va coûter de m’envoyer là-bas ? », a-t-il questionné, soulignant le risque d’affaiblir une équipe prétendante au titre avec son énorme salaire.<\/p><\/blockquote>

C’est dans ce contexte que le GM des Blazers, Joe Cronin, semble prêt à utiliser le 3e choix de la Draft et Anfernee Simons comme monnaie d’échange. Selon The Ringer, Portland explore activement ses options avec ces deux atout dans leur manches.<\/p>

Les Blazers pourraient envisager de cibler des joueurs de calibre All-Star comme Jaylen Brown<\/strong><\/a>, Pascal Siakam, ou Mikal Bridges en échange du 3e choix de la Draft et d’Anfernee Simons. Cette stratégie permettrait à Portland de rester compétitif sans devoir se lancer dans une reconstruction totale qui pourrait suivre un éventuel échange de Lillard.<\/p>

Dans l’idéal, Portland parviendra à ajouter un autre joueur de calibre All-Star pour jouer aux côtés de Damian Lillard, renforçant ainsi leur équipe pour la prochaine saison. Cependant, il reste à voir si cela est réalisable.
