Russell Wilson est l’actuel Quarterback des Denver Broncos.<\/h2>

Bien que celui-ci a gagné le Super Bowl XLVIII avec les Seahawks, Wilson a eu affaire à une première saison très compliquée chez les Broncos avec un bilan de 5 victoires pour 12 défaites, le pire dans l’AFC West.<\/p>

Russell Wilson a été trade de Seattle à Denver en mars 2022 mais celui-ci aurait pu atterrir dans une tout autre équipe. En effet, avant le trade pour Denver, les Seahawks auraient conclu un accord avec les Eagles pour le Quarterback vétéran. Cependant, Wilson aurait décliné ce trade.<\/p>

Jake Heaps<\/a>, entraîneur du Quarterback, a également déclaré que Wilson aurait de plus refusé un trade chez les Washington Commanders.<\/p>

« La raison pour laquelle cet [accord] s’est produit si rapidement et a progressé rapidement est que, premièrement, Denver travaillait là-dessus dans les coulisses depuis un certain temps maintenant. L’autre raison est que les Seahawks étaient limités, les gars. Il n’y a pas de véritable effet de levier s’il y a seulement un certain nombre d’équipes pour lesquelles Russell Wilson est réellement intéressé ou est prêt à renoncer à sa clause de non-échange.<\/em><\/p>\n

« Il a refusé l’offre de Washington [Commanders]. Il a refusé une offre de Philly pendant le Combine. Et la situation de Denver était le choix clair et numéro un pour lui dans toutes ces autres équipes. » <\/em>a déclaré Heaps.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Russell Wilson<\/strong><\/a> aura finalement été trade chez les Broncos en échange d’un premier tour de draft 2022, un deuxième de 2022, un cinquième de 2022, un premier tour de 2023, un deuxième de 2023, le Tight End Noah Fant, le Defensive End Shelby Harris ainsi que le Quarterback Drew Lock.<\/p>
