Jonathan Taylor, le running back All-Pro des Colts d’Indianapolis, n’est pas étranger à la pression.<\/h2>

Malgré une saison passée difficile, en proie à une blessure à la cheville, il garde espoir et est déterminé à rebondir.<\/p>

La saison 2021 de Jonathan Taylor<\/strong><\/a> reste inoubliable, marquée par un touchdown décisif de 67 yards contre les Patriots de la Nouvelle-Angleterre. Alors que ses coéquipiers et ses fans le célébraient, son collègue linebacker des Colts, Shaquille Leonard, l’a acclamé comme le MVP de la NFL. La moyenne de Taylor de 106,5 yards par match et le record de 1 811 yards au sol pour les Colts étaient en effet remarquables.<\/p>

Cependant, 2022 est venu avec ses tribulations. Une blessure à la cheville lui a fait manquer des matchs pour la première fois de sa carrière de footballeur, et les performances incohérentes qui en ont résulté de sa ligne offensive et de ses quarterbacks ont aggravé les difficultés. Sa moyenne par match a chuté à 78,3 yards et il n’a réussi que deux performances au sol de 100 yards.<\/p>

Dans un mouvement qui démontre sa détermination implacable, Jonathan Taylor se prépare maintenant à faire un retour.<\/p>

Un retour attendu<\/h3>

Alors qu’il entame la dernière saison de son contrat avec les Colts, lui et l’équipe ont besoin d’une grosse année. Un nouvel entraîneur en chef à Shane Steichen et un nouveau quarterback, Anthony Richardson, ajoutent également une autre couche de complexité et d’excitation à la saison à venir.<\/p>

Les Colts ont besoin de Jonathan Taylor pour retrouver son ancienne forme, pour ramener la magie et l’explosivité qui ont défini son jeu. Il a travaillé dur pour se remettre d’une opération à la cheville et, même s’il n’a pas participé aux récents entraînements de l’équipe hors saison, il garde espoir et détermination.<\/p>

« Je suis excité parce que nous sommes en 2023, nous avons donc une autre opportunité », a-t-il déclaré<\/a>, ne laissant aucun doute sur son empressement à retourner sur le terrain.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Un aspect crucial du retour de Jonathan Taylor sera l’intégration avec le nouveau quarterback, Richardson. La capacité à double menace de Richardson devrait théoriquement aider le jeu de course des Colts, rendant potentiellement Taylor plus efficace lorsqu’il récupère le ballon.<\/p>

Malgré les changements dans les postes d’entraîneur et de quarterback de l’équipe, les antécédents de Taylor en tant que spécialiste des gros jeux se démarquent. Il a mené la NFL avec le plus de courses de 10 yards ou plus en 2020 et 2021, faisant allusion à l’explosivité qu’il peut ramener aux Colts. Le paysage de la NFL a changé avec les running back qui ne sont plus valorisés comme ils l’étaient autrefois, et la négociation d’un accord équitable pourrait s’avérer difficile.
