Carmelo Anthony a annoncé ce jour sa retraite et la question d’une future entrée au Hall of Fame<\/span> se pose.<\/span><\/h2>

Une sélection aujourd’hui presque automatique<\/h3>

En effet, aujourd’hui, dès qu’un joueur avec une certaine notoriété prend sa retraite, quel que soit son palmarès, il entre au Hall of Fame<\/span> à l’instar d’un Vlade<\/span> Divac<\/span> il y a quelques années.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Carmelo Anthony<\/a> fait partie du club des joueurs avec plus de 30 000 points inscrits avec 30 203 points saison régulière et playoffs<\/span> confondu.<\/span><\/p>

Le joueur fait partie de la draft 2003, aujourd’hui encore considérée comme une des plus grandes sélections depuis le début du siècle, avec entre autres LeBron<\/span> James<\/a>, Dwyane<\/span> Wade<\/span> et Chris Bosh<\/span>.<\/span> À ce jour, LeBron<\/span> James est encore en activité et les deux autres joueurs sont déjà au Hall of Fame<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

Il est dix fois all-star<\/span> et il est membre d’une équipe type NBA à six reprises en 20 saisons.<\/span><\/p>

Avec ces éléments et compte tenu de l’acceptation aisée aujourd’hui au Hall of Fame<\/span>, il devrait être élu dès sa première année d’éligibilité, trois ans après sa retraite.<\/span><\/p>

La principale faiblesse de la carrière de Carmelo Anthony est son palmarès.<\/span><\/p>

Il n’a pas gagné de titre NBA avec les Denver Nuggets et les New York Knicks<\/span>, ses principales franchises où il est la star de l’équipe.<\/span><\/p>

Ses passages aux Oklahoma City<\/span> Thunder<\/span> et Houston Rockets sont anecdotiques.<\/span> Par contre, il joue en<\/span> sixième homme aux Portland Trail Blazers pour seconder Damian Lillard<\/span> et surtout une dernière chance avec un dernier contrat d’une saison aux Los<\/span> Angeles Lakers<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

Le contrat au salaire minimum aux Lakers<\/span> a pour but de gagner enfin une bague.<\/span><\/p>

Le constat est que son palmarès NBA est vierge, il est champion universitaire avec son université de Syracuse et joueur le plus remarquable de l’année, MOP<\/span> en 2003.<\/span><\/p>

Carmelo Antony n’a jamais fait partie de la première équipe type de la saison NBA.<\/span><\/p>

Il fait partie des 75 meilleurs joueurs de l’histoire de la ligue selon la NBA.<\/span><\/p>
