Lorsque Justin Verlander a enfilé l’uniforme des Mets de New York pour la première fois après son départ, les fans ont souhaité des moments de magie rappelant la carrière renommée du vétéran.<\/h2>

Mercredi soir, le triple vainqueur du prix Cy Young, âgé de 40 ans, a livré exactement cela, en remportant une victoire palpitante d’un point contre les Reds de Cincinnati, une équipe qu’il n’avait jamais battue auparavant.<\/p>

Ce triomphe a marqué la première victoire de Justin Verlander<\/strong><\/a> en tant que Met et a gravé son nom plus profondément dans les annales de l’histoire de la Major League Baseball.
