La superstar des Angels de Los Angeles, Shohei Ohtani, pourrait envisager de rejoindre la Ligue nationale avant la fin de l’année, les Dodgers de Los Angeles devenant une destination probable.<\/h2>

Selon l’insider d’ESPN MLB, Kiley McDaniel<\/a>, il y a un consensus croissant parmi les insiders de l’industrie sur le fait que Shohei Ohtani<\/strong><\/a> pourrait rester sur la côte ouest, mais du côté des Dodgers.<\/p>

La révélation de McDaniel est intervenue après des discussions avec 26 dirigeants, agents et insiders de la MLB concernant la free agency potentielle de Shohei Ohtani. La sensation japonaise, maintenant âgée de 28 ans, devrait tester le marché après la saison en cours.<\/p>

Une source confiante a révélé à McDaniel qu’Ohtani et son camp pourraient « utiliser » stratégiquement les Padres de San Diego et les Mets de New York pour gonfler sa valeur marchande avant de finalement signer avec les Dodgers.<\/p>

L’initié aurait déclaré: « Il veut et ira avec les Dodgers. » Ce sentiment correspond à la croyance populaire de l’industrie selon laquelle Ohtani préfère rester sur la côte ouest. Les Dodgers, une franchise légendaire avec un palmarès à succès, pourraient non seulement lui offrir un chèque substantiel, mais aussi la chance de faire partie d’une équipe régulièrement en lice pour le titre.<\/p>

Cette information corrobore les spéculations de Jon Heyman, un cadre de la MLB<\/a>, qui a déclaré au New York Post le mois dernier que les Dodgers et les Mets devraient être considérés comme favoris dans la course pour signer Ohtani. Bien que New York ait été initialement hors du radar d’Ohtani, Heyman suggère que la position pourrait avoir changé. Cependant, la récente performance des Yankees et des Mets n’est peut-être pas assez attrayante pour Ohtani.<\/p>

McDaniel a également nommé les Mariners de Seattle, les Giants de San Francisco, les Rangers du Texas et les Cubs de Chicago comme prétendants potentiels pour Shohei Ohtani.
