Dans un moment émouvant et inspirant pour les fans de baseball du monde entier, Liam Hendriks a fait ses débuts en réadaptation dans la Ligue mineure vendredi soir, deux semaines seulement après avoir annoncé qu’il n’avait plus de cancer.<\/h2>

Le lanceur droitier australien a pris le monticule pour Triple-A Charlotte, lançant un fond parfait de la septième manche dans une défaite 2-0 contre Gwinnett au Coolray Field.<\/p>

Cela a marqué la première action de jeu en direct de Liam Hendriks en 214 jours. Lorsqu’il est entré dans le match au septième, il a reçu une ovation debout des fans, des arbitres et des joueurs des deux équipes, démontrant le profond respect et l’admiration pour son parcours.<\/p>

Au cours de sa sortie, Liam Hendriks a présenté un mélange de balles rapides et de Sliders, sa balle rapide atteignant jusqu’à 93,2 mph. Le point culminant de sa performance est survenu lorsqu’il a sorti Joe Hudson avec un heater 2-2, affichant son contrôle et ses compétences impressionnants.<\/p>

Dans une récente publication sur Instagram, Hendriks a fièrement annoncé sa rémission en déclarant : « C’est officiel. Je n’ai plus de cancer. »<\/p>

Son parcours a été un témoignage de sa force, de son courage et de sa persévérance, inspirant d’innombrables autres personnes confrontées à des batailles similaires.<\/p>

Alors que Liam Hendriks attend avec impatience un retour potentiel dans les ligues majeures, il reste concentré sur ses progrès et reconnaissant du soutien qu’il a reçu. Sa femme, Kristi, a joué un rôle déterminant en l’aidant à comprendre l’impact de son voyage sur les autres, comme elle le lui a dit<\/a> :<\/p>

Avec sa sortie réussie en Triple-A Charlotte à son actif, Liam Hendriks est déterminé à poursuivre son travail et à faire un retour triomphal dans la cour des grands.<\/p>
