Durant a déclaré par le passé qu’il voulait jouer jusqu’à l’âge de 40 ans. S’il continue sur cette voie, il resterait en NBA jusqu’à la saison 2028-2029. Mais cette déclaration a été faite en janvier 2014, alors que Durant n’avait que 26 ans. Beaucoup de choses ont changé au cours des neuf années qui ont suivi, notamment plusieurs blessures importantes.<\/p>
Quand il est en pleine forme physiquement, Durant reste une force dominante sur le terrain. Au cours des trois dernières saisons, le 13 fois All-Star a réalisé une moyenne de 28,8 points avec 53,7 % de réussite au tir, 7,1 rebonds et 5,7 passes décisives par match.<\/p>
Il en est actuellement à sa 16ème saison en NBA et insinue que sa retraite n’est pas pour tout de suite :<\/p>

Durant est en train d’essayer d’aider les Phoenix Suns à remporter le premier championnat de l’histoire de la franchise. Il a pris un bon départ, puisqu’il a aidé les Suns à prendre une avance de 3 à 1 sur les Clippers de Los Angeles.<\/p>
