Les Jets de New York ont fait un autre pas en signant cette fois l’ancien quarterback remplaçant des Packers de Green Bay, Tim Boyle, pour un contrat d’un an.<\/h2>

L’accord, rapporté pour la première fois par Mike Garafolo de NFL.com<\/a>, intervient alors que les Jets poursuivent leur poursuite de la légende des Packers Aaron Rodgers. Tim Boyle, qui a passé trois saisons (2018-20) à soutenir Rodgers à Green Bay, retrouvera les anciens coéquipiers des Packers Allen Lazard et l’ancien coordinateur offensif de Green Bay Nathaniel Hackett à New York.<\/p>

La signature de Tim Boyle<\/strong><\/a> ajoute de la profondeur au poste de quarterback des Jets et soulève des questions sur l’avenir du jeune Zach Wilson. L’équipe avait envisagé de re-signer le vétéran populaire Mike White, mais il a finalement choisi un contrat de deux ans avec les Dolphins de Miami. White avait dépassé Wilson dans la hiérarchie la saison dernière, ce qui a conduit les Jets à planifier une année d’apprentissage supplémentaire pour l’ancien choix n ° 2 au général de la draft.<\/p>

L’ajout de Tim Boyle, qui a travaillé sous Hackett, devrait s’avérer bénéfique pour le développement de Wilson. Boyle a rejoint les Packers lors de la dernière année de Mike McCarthy, mais a joué deux saisons avec le duo d’entraîneurs Hackett-Matt LaFleur.
