Les Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> seront le 12 février prochain au Super Bowl, leur 3e en 4 ans, après avoir participé aux 5 dernières finales de conférences AFC. Peut-on parler de dynastie des Chiefs ?<\/h2>

Par définition, on parle de dynastie lorsqu’il y a plusieurs titres. Depuis 2018, Kansas City<\/strong> est l’équipe la plus dominante et la plus régulière de toute la NFL. Sous Andy Reid<\/strong> et avec Patrick Mahomes<\/a><\/strong>, les Chiefs<\/strong> en sont à 5 finales de conférence disputées en 5 ans, dont 3 victoires. Ce qui signifie, que pour la 3e fois en 5 ans, ces Chiefs là iront au Super Bowl, suite à leur victoire 23 – 20 contre Cincinnati<\/strong> le week-end dernier.<\/p>

Leur domination est telle que ces dernières années, la conférence AFC<\/span> leur appartient. <\/span>Chaque année, on sait qu’ils seront au bout et chaque année, ils y sont.<\/span> Tout a démarré à la surprise générale, lorsque les Chiefs<\/span><\/strong> se sont rendu compte de la perle qu’ils avaient entre les mains.<\/span> Une perle draftée<\/span> en 10e position en 2017, du nom de Patrick Mahomes<\/span><\/strong>, sur le banc pendant une saison à découvrir les rouages de la NFL, avant d’être titulaire l’année suivante puis MVP<\/span> en fin d’année.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

S’ils remportent le titre face aux Eagles<\/strong> dans moins de deux semaines, on pourra très certainement commencer à parler de dynastie<\/a>, car le terme se construit sur des titres.<\/span> Or, à l’heure actuelle, sur cette domination de 5 ans, la franchise n’en a gagné qu’un.<\/span> C’était en 2020, après la saison 2019, où KC<\/strong> avait battu San Francisco<\/strong> à Miami.<\/span> Le deuxième Super Bowl<\/span> disputé l’année suivante, s’était soldé par une défaite large contre les Buccaneers<\/span> de Tampa<\/span> Bay.<\/strong><\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Si les Chiefs<\/span> s’imposent, le palmarès parlera clairement de lui-même, avec 2 titres, sur 3 Super Bowl<\/span>, le tout en 5 ans.<\/span> On peut commencer à comparer cette équipe aux Warriors <\/span>de Golden State<\/span><\/strong> en NBA, une équipe qui a débarqué pratiquement de nulle part avec un joueur d’exception, Stephen Curry\/Patrick<\/span> Mahomes<\/span><\/strong>, qui a changé le jeu en le rendant spectaculaire en dominant.<\/span> Certes, les Warriors<\/span> sont implantés dans leur ligue depuis plus longtemps, 2015 en l’occurrence, mais le monde de la NBA parle de dynastie en ce qui concerne Golden State<\/span>.<\/span> Et Kansas City s’en rapproche en NFL.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

La franchise n’en est pas encore au niveau des différentes dynasties qui ont pu exister en NFL, mais si cela se poursuit sur plusieurs années avec du succès au Super Bowl<\/span>, elle pourrait en faire partie.<\/span> L’une des plus grandes dynasties concerne les New<\/span> England <\/span>Patriots<\/span><\/strong> qui ont remporté 6 titres entre 2001 et 2019 sous Bill Belichick<\/span><\/strong> et Tom Brady<\/strong>.<\/span> Mais avant cela, il y a eu plusieurs dynasties notables, les Dallas Cowboys<\/span><\/strong> dans les années 90 avec 3 titres entre 1993 et 1996, les 49ers<\/span><\/strong> dans les années 80 qui ont gagné 5 titres entre 1981 et 1994.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>
