Excellent en sortie de banc dans le meilleur bilan de la ligue, Malcolm Brogdon figure inévitablement parmi les favoris pour remporter le trophée de meilleur 6th Man of The Year. <\/strong><\/h2>

Malcolm Brogdon<\/strong><\/a> réalise une excellente saison pour sa première année à Boston. Il remplit parfaitement le rôle pour lequel Brad Stevens l’a recruté cet été. Scoreur efficace et métronome balle en main, il insuffle un coup de boost nécessaire pour suppléer les Jays. Voir un tel joueur placé sur le banc peut interpeler, pourtant le numéro 13 des Celtics performe dans ce rôle, de quoi envisager d’être élu sixième homme de l’année.<\/p>

Souvent mentionné parmi les favoris, le dossier de l’ancien Pacers est très solide : 13.6 points (6ème <\/sup><\/span>parmi les remplaçants), 3.9 passes décisives (5ème<\/sup><\/span>), 4.1 rebonds, 1.6 turnovers, des pourcentages au tir excellents (48\/44\/89), le tout au sein du meilleur bilan de la ligue ! Impactant dès qu’il foule le parquet, Malcolm Brogdon assure l’intérim lorsqu’un des Jays souffle sur le banc : il se classe 3ème<\/sup><\/span> meilleur scoreur et passeur son équipe.<\/p>

Il semble encore meilleur en 2023, comptabilisant 15.1 points et 3.9 passes de moyenne pour 0.9 turnover, en 47\/46\/96. Suffisant pour ajouter un deuxième trophée individuel à son palmarès après le Rookie of the Year 2017 ?<\/p>

Trois autres joueurs brillent particulièrement en sortie de banc cette saison et représentent de sérieux adversaires. Tout d’abord, Russell Westbrook (Lakers), dans un nouveau rôle, semble renaitre après une saison 2021-2022 compliquée. Il tourne en 15.5 points, 8.2 passes et 6.4 rebonds avec 3.8 TO en 42\/30\/66.<\/p>

Le bilan ne joue pas en sa faveur mais il est le remplaçant qui génère le plus de points. Candidature solide également pour Bobby Portis (Bucks). Généreux, impactant des deux côtés du terrain, Bobby Portis ne laisse pas indifférent lorsqu’il remplace Brook Lopez ou Giannis Antetokoumpo. Rugueux mais adroit, il réalise l’une de ses meilleures saisons : 13.3 points, 1.6 passes, 9.7 rebonds, en 51\/31\/74. Dernière menace, l’explosif rookie Benedict Mathurin (Pacers). Après un début de saison sur les chapeaux de roue, le 6ème<\/sup><\/span> choix de la draft 2022 a connu un passage compliqué.<\/p>

Son apport reste néanmoins un facteur non-négligeable dans la réussite des Pacers cette saison, que personne ne voyait aussi haut : 17.5 points, 1.5 passes, 4 rebonds, pour 1.9 TO, en 43\/34\/81. Enfin, client annoncé pour le trophée, Jordan Poole a disputé 20 matchs en tant que titulaire, ce qui devrait l’exclure de la course.<\/p>

Malcolm Brogdon s’est vu posé la question concernant ses chances pour le trophée, au micro de NBC Sport Boston. Sa réaction a été très claire, sur la même ligne que celles de Jayson Tatum et de Jaylen Brown :<\/p>
