Avec 46 points la nuit dernière, Donovan Mitchell a signé son retour à Utah<\/span>, mais n’a pu empêcher la courte défaite de Cleveland 116 – 114.<\/span> <\/span><\/h2>

C’était l’heure du grand retour pour Donovan Mitchell<\/a><\/strong> dans l’Utah<\/span><\/strong>, lui qui a quitté le Jazz<\/strong> l’été dernier pour rejoindre Cleveland<\/strong> et les Cavaliers<\/strong>.<\/span> Auteur de 71 points il y a quelques jours face à Chicago<\/strong>, « Spida<\/span>« <\/em> continue sur sa belle lancée avec une nouvelle très belle performance.<\/span> Hier ce<\/span> sont 46 points<\/strong><\/a> que le meneur des Cavs<\/span> a inscrit en 36 minutes.<\/span> Malheureusement pour lui, ses anciens coéquipiers avaient aussi noté ce match dans leur calendrier et les joueurs du Jazz ont été plus solides avec une victoire au bout 116-114<\/strong>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Donovan Mitchell a finalement été applaudi par la salle, lui qui se demandait si les fans allaient le huer ou l’applaudir « J’étais préparé aux deux, j’ai eu beaucoup de temps pour m’y préparer. Je ne savais pas à quoi m’attendre pour être franc<\/em> ». Il a évidemment aussi eu droit à sa vidéo hommage que sa maman et sa sœur ont pu voir depuis les gradins. <\/span><\/p>

« L’accueil était phénoménal […] J’étais très à l’aise […] On aurait dit une soirée typique du Jazz. Des équipes qui se répondent, des encouragements… C’était génial, c’était bon d’être de retour, de voir des visages familiers<\/em> »<\/p>\n

Donovan Mitchell<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>

Seul Darius Garland<\/a><\/strong> est venu épauler Mitchell avec 21 points<\/strong>, mais c’est à peu près tout ce qui est à noter pour les Cavs<\/span>.<\/span> En face, il aura fallu batailler pour contenir un Jordan Clarkson<\/span> a<\/span> 32 points<\/strong> (dont 15<\/strong> dans le 4e quart temps) et un Lauri Markkanen<\/span> toujours aussi fort à 25 points et 16 rebonds<\/strong>.<\/span> Au classement, Utah<\/span> reste accroché à sa 10e place à l’Ouest tandis que Cleveland voit Philadelphie<\/strong> passer devant étant donné que les 76ers<\/span><\/strong> se sont imposés hier, les Cavaliers sont 5e<\/strong> donc désormais à l’Est.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>
