L’adage l’union fait la force est encrée dans l’ADN des Warriors. Le fameux « Strengh in number » que l’on peut retrouver sur les t-shirts à chaque siège du Chase Center fait partie intégrante de l’identité de la franchise. Et hier soir, face au Thunder, l’expression a bien failli se vérifier une nouvelle fois.<\/p>

En l’absence du chef, laissé au repos à cause d’un pépin aux quadriceps, un autre Curry a reçu une standing ovation pour son retour dans la baie. Seth Curry<\/a> a réalisé de bons débuts avec 14 points à 6\/7 au tir. Tout comme lui, 6 Warriors ont dépassé la barre des 10 points hier soir, mais sans qu’aucun n’aille au-delà des 17 unités, marque atteinte par Brandin Podziemski et Pat Spencer. <\/p>

Dans la NBA <\/a>de 2025, gagner un match sans aucun joueur à au moins 20 points paraît très complexe.<\/p>

Pourtant, sans Stephen Curry et sans Jimmy Butler III, blessé au genou gauche durant tout la seconde mi-temps, les Guerriers ont justifié leur nom. Loin derrière OKC au retour des vestiaires (ils compteront jusqu’à 22 points de retard), les hommes de Steve Kerr ont rappelé de beaux souvenirs aux nostalgiques, et réalisé un troisième quart temps XXL. <\/p>

Résultats : 28-44 sur la période, et un match complètement relancé, qui a obligé Shai Gilgeous-Alexander à rester en tenue pour l’ultime acte. Dans ces 12 dernières minutes, Golden State a lutté, et a même pris la tête grâce à un Pat Spencer en mode Career high (17 points\/6 passes). <\/p>

Mais OKC était trop fort et SGA trop clutch. La différence s’est faite dans les dernières minutes, et le Thunder repart de la baie avec un 21e succès en 22 matchs. Durement acquis certes, mais l’essentiel est là. De son côté, Golden State n’a pas à rougir de sa performance, mais la défaite fait mal et les Warriors repassent ainsi à l’équilibre (11-11) avant d’entamer un roadtrip de trois matchs sur la cote est. <\/p>
