Jonathan Taylor court sur les défenses NFL<\/h2>

Dimanche, face aux Chargers, Jonathan Taylor a une nouvelle fois frappé fort avec trois touchdowns au sol lors de la victoire 38-24<\/a>. Ce n’est pas un coup d’éclat isolé: il s’agit déjà de la troisième fois en sept matchs qu’il inscrit un triplé. Une performance rarissime qu’il partage désormais avec des légendes comme Jim Brown, Priest Holmes et Derrick Henry.<\/p>

Avec 697 yards parcourus à la course depuis l’ouverture de la saison, Jonathan Taylor domine également la ligue dans cette catégorie. Efficace en zone rouge, explosif entre les lignes et constant dans ses prises de décision, il est devenu l’arme principale de l’attaque d’Indianapolis, qui se replace dans la course aux playoffs.<\/p>

Face à de telles statistiques, Shane Steichen n’a pas hésité à trancher. <\/p>

« C’est le meilleur running back de la ligue en ce moment, sans aucun doute » a déclaré le coach,<\/a> relayant l’immense impact de son joueur sur les performances collectives. <\/p>

Un avis qui ne surprend pas à l’intérieur du vestiaire, où Taylor est perçu comme un moteur offensif incontournable. Bien sûr, certains observateurs pourraient opposer des candidats comme Christian McCaffrey, auteur lui aussi d’un début de saison impressionnant avec San Francisco.
