À quelques jours du début de la saison 2025-26 de NBA, les Chicago Bulls<\/strong> ont décidé de renforcer leur effectif avec une recrue tardive. Vendredi, la franchise de l’Illinois a officialisé la signature de Mac McClung<\/strong>, devenu célèbre pour avoir remporté trois fois de suite le concours de dunks<\/strong> du All-Star Weekend.<\/p>

Selon les informations de Michael Scotto<\/strong> du site HoopsHype<\/em><\/a>, McClung a soulevé le trophée du célèbre concours en 2023, 2024 et 2025<\/strong>, un exploit inédit dans l’histoire récente de la NBA. Malgré sa taille modeste (1,88 m), le meneur se distingue par une explosivité impressionnante<\/strong> et une capacité de détente spectaculaire<\/strong>, qui ont fait de lui une véritable attraction lors des week-ends des étoiles.<\/p>

Un parcours entre NBA et G League<\/h2>

Non sélectionné lors du Draft 2021<\/strong>, McClung avait débuté sa carrière professionnelle avec les South Bay Lakers<\/strong>, équipe affiliée à Los Angeles. Il a ensuite brièvement porté les couleurs des Chicago Bulls<\/strong>, des Los Angeles Lakers<\/strong> et des Philadelphia 76ers<\/strong>, alternant entre la NBA et la G League.<\/p>

Retour à Chicago avec un contrat two-way<\/h2>

Les modalités du contrat<\/strong> signé avec les Bulls n’ont pas été précisées, mais il s’agirait vraisemblablement d’un accord “two-way”<\/strong>, lui permettant d’alterner entre l’équipe première et les Windy City Bulls<\/strong>, la filiale de Chicago en G League.<\/p>

McClung pourrait ainsi bénéficier de nouvelles opportunités pour s’imposer durablement dans la ligue, lui qui n’a jamais vraiment eu sa chance malgré sa popularité grandissante.<\/p>

Les Chicago Bulls<\/strong> ouvriront leur saison régulière face aux Detroit Pistons<\/strong>, mercredi prochain (22 octobre), avec la possibilité de voir McClung figurer parmi les joueurs du banc.<\/p>

Lors des deux dernières saisons, McClung évoluait sous contrat avec le Orlando Magic<\/strong>, mais a passé la majeure partie de son temps au sein de son équipe affiliée en G League, le Osceola Magic<\/strong>. Il n’a disputé que deux matchs en NBA<\/a><\/strong> avec Orlando, sans inscrire le moindre point, mais a tout de même été sacré champion de G League en 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>
