Bijan Robinson n’en finit plus d’émerveiller la NFL. Lundi soir, lors de la victoire d’Atlanta face aux Bills<\/a>, le running back des Falcons a une nouvelle fois livré une prestation majuscule: 170 yards au sol et 68 yards à la réception. Des chiffres qui confirment son statut de phénomène… et qui le placent sur des bases historiques.<\/p>

Bijan Robinson en quête d’un double record<\/h2>

En cinq matchs seulement, Robinson cumule déjà 484 yards à la course et 338 à la passe, soit un total impressionnant de 822 yards depuis le début de la saison. Aucun joueur dans la ligue ne fait mieux, et ce alors que la plupart des équipes ont disputé une rencontre de plus.<\/p>

À ce rythme, environ 164 yards cumulés par match, le joueur d’Atlanta terminerait l’exercice avec près de 2 800 yards depuis la ligne de scrimmage. Cela pulvériserait le record actuel détenu par Chris Johnson, auteur de 2 509 yards en 2009 avec les Titans<\/a>. Fait marquant: Robinson serait en mesure de battre cette marque dès son 16e match, alors que Johnson avait établi la sienne sur une saison complète de 16 rencontres. Une performance qui mettrait alors de côté le débat sur les records battus après 17 matchs. <\/p>

Bijan Robinson dans un club très fermé?<\/h2>

Mais l’explosivité de Robinson ne s’arrête pas là. Ses projections actuelles l’envoient vers 1 647 yards au sol et 1 149 yards à la réception. Un double-mille inédit depuis des décennies, que seules trois légendes ont accompli : Roger Craig en 1985, Marshall Faulk en 1999 et Christian McCaffrey en 2019.<\/p>

Au-delà des chiffres, c’est l’impact global du joueur qui interpelle. Il porte l’attaque, soulage son quarterback, étire les défenses et offre à son coach une polyvalence rare. Si sa santé tient bon, Bijan Robinson pourrait bien écrire l’une des saisons les plus marquantes de l’histoire moderne.<\/p>
