Le marché des échanges est en ébullition en NFL. Après l’arrivée de Joe Flacco aux Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> via un échange avec les Cleveland Browns, Russell Wilson pourrait être le prochain quarterback dans le viseur des franchises. Désormais remplaçant chez les New York Giants, le vétéran a perdu sa place et pourrait devenir une option pour d’autres équipes de la ligue.<\/p>

La journaliste NFL Dianna Russini<\/a> a révélé ces dernières heures que New York attend des propositions de transfert pour Wilson. Selon elle, la franchise est prête à négocier le joueur jusqu’à la date limite des échanges, fixée au 4 novembre. Elle a également précisé que les Bengals n’avaient pas manifesté d’intérêt pour Wilson avant d’opter pour Flacco.<\/p>

Le passage de Russell Wilson chez les Giants<\/strong><\/h2>

La volonté des Giants de lui trouver un nouveau point de chute n’a rien de surprenant. Son court passage comme titulaire à New York a été décevant. Arrivé pendant l’intersaison après une saison chez les Pittsburgh Steelers, il a débuté les trois premiers matchs, sans remporter la moindre victoire et avec des performances très en dessous des attentes.<\/p>

Contesté dès la première semaine, Wilson a conservé son poste jusqu’à la Week 3. Face aux Kansas City Chiefs, il a particulièrement souffert: seulement 56 % de passes complétées, 160 yards et deux interceptions.<\/p>

À la suite de ce match, les Giants ont décidé de le mettre sur le banc pour installer le rookie Jaxson Dart comme titulaire. Choisi au premier tour de la Draft NFL 2025, Dart était déjà pressenti pour devenir le visage de la franchise. Pour son premier match, il a mené l’équipe à une victoire contre les Los Angeles Chargers, lançant pour 111 yards et un touchdown.<\/p>

L’avenir de Russell Wilson<\/strong><\/h2>

Jusqu’à présent, aucune équipe n’a publiquement exprimé son intention d’acquérir le quarterback. Avec la fenêtre des échanges ouverte jusqu’au 4 novembre, Wilson pourrait toutefois représenter une solution en cas de besoin pour certaines franchises. Un éventuel transfert n’engagerait pas les clubs sur le long terme, puisque son contrat s’achève à la fin de la saison, ce qui ferait de lui un agent libre lors de la prochaine intersaison.<\/p>
