A 32 ans, le receveur sans contrat Odell Beckham Jr se voit infliger une suspension de six matchs pour un contrôle anti-dopage positif. Cette décision de la NFL intervient après une présence de testostérone trop importante à la suite d’un test la saison dernière, lorsqu’il jouait encore pour les Dolphins.<\/p>

Le vainqueur du Super Bowl LVI a affirmé qu’il avait accepté sa suspension, sans pour autant reconnaître qu’il avait consommé des substances dopantes, améliorant ses performances. <\/p>

« Vous pouvez dire ce que vous voulez à mon sujet. Je suis sûr de qui je suis aujourd’hui », a déclaré Beckham au podcast The Pivot<\/a><\/em>. « Je n’ai jamais trompé personne d’autre que moi-même. Je vais m’en tenir à cela et continuer dans cette voie. »<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Cette suspension va tout de même être problématique pour le vétéran. Bien qu’il soit actuellement sans contrat, Beckham Jr souhaite rejouer au football cette saison. Avec une interdiction de jouer en NFL jusqu’à la week 12, les possibilités se font de plus en plus rares pour le triple pro bowler.<\/p>

Ce dernier a d’ailleurs nommé plusieurs équipes qu’il pourrait rejoindre cette saison, incluant les Pittsburgh Steelers, les Kansas City Chiefs, ainsi que les Los Angeles Rams, franchise avec laquelle il a remporté le Super Bowl en 2022.<\/p>

C’est d’ailleurs après ce même Super Bowl remporté par son équipe face aux Bengals que sa carrière a connu un tournant. Avec une déchirure du ligament croisé antérieur durant le match, Odell Beckham Jr n’est plus que l’ombre de lui même. Il avait notamment rejoint les Ravens <\/a>en 2023, avec lesquels il a enregistré 565 yards et 3 touchdowns, puis les Dolphins, avec qui le bilan est très maigre, avec seulement 55 yards à la réception.<\/p>
