Le retour de Micah Parsons à Dallas n’a pas eu le goût espéré. Opposé à son ancienne équipe dans l’enceinte de l’AT&T Stadium, le linebacker des Packers a quitté le terrain avec un sentiment amer après le match nul spectaculaire<\/a> (40-40) face aux Cowboys.<\/p>

\n

« Je suis en colère, vraiment déçu de notre performance collective », a reconnu le joueur après la rencontre<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Transféré fin août de Dallas vers Green Bay, Parsons espérait briller lors de cette affiche très symbolique. S’il a réussi un sack important en prolongation, sa prestation et celle de la défense n’ont pas suffi pour faire plier son ancien club. Micah Parsons n’a pas manqué de saluer le niveau affiché par les deux quarterbacks lors de cette rencontre qui promettait un très haut niveau d’intensité. <\/p>

« Dak a été impressionnant, je lui ai dit après la rencontre », a-t-il confié. « J’ai aussi remercier Jordan (Love) de nous avoir porté aujourd’hui. Aujourd’hui, Jordan a joué comme le joueur qu’il est mais nous l’avons laissé tomber. »<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Micah Parsons de retour à Dallas<\/h2>

Ce retour à Dallas avait forcément une saveur particulière. Drafté par les Cowboys, Parsons a toutefois rappelé que son lien avec la franchise s’était brisé au moment du transfert. <\/p>

« J’ai appris la nouvelle par mon agent, pas par mon propriétaire. C’est une question de respect », a-t-il expliqué, soulignant la rancune qui persiste envers Jerry Jones.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Accueilli par des applaudissements lors de l’échauffement, le linebacker a échangé à la fin de la rencontre son maillot avec Trevon Diggs, symbole de son attachement à certains anciens coéquipiers. Entre frustrations sportives, émotions personnelles et une sortie entachée par un passage forcé au protocole commotion, Micah Parsons résume lui-même ce match : « Tout était étrange ce soir. »<\/p>
