Naz Hillmon, ailière des Atlanta Dream, a été élue Sixth Player of the Year 2025 en WNBA. C’est la première fois qu’elle décroche cette récompense, et elle devient aussi la première joueuse de l’histoire de la franchise à remporter ce trophée.<\/strong><\/p>

Hillmon a obtenu 44 des 72 votes d’un panel national de journalistes. Natisha Hiedeman (Minnesota Lynx) a terminé deuxième avec 22 voix, devant sa coéquipière Jessica Shepard (4 votes). Dominique Malonga<\/a> (Seattle Storm) et Sami Whitcomb (Phoenix Mercury) ont reçu une voix chacune.<\/p>

Pour sa quatrième saison en WNBA, Hillmon a signé des records personnels avec 8,6 points, 6,2 rebonds et 2,4 passes décisives en 25,5 minutes de moyenne sur 44 matchs (dont 17 comme titulaire). Elle a contribué à la saison historique du Dream (30-14), qui a doublé son total de victoires par rapport à 2024 et décroché la 3e place de la saison régulière, après avoir terminé 8e l’an dernier.<\/p>

Véritable étincelle en sortie de banc, elle a réalisé 8 matchs à 10 points et 5 rebonds ou plus comme remplaçante, soit le 2e meilleur total de la ligue derrière Malonga (12). Le Dream a affiché un bilan parfait (5-0) lorsqu’elle a inscrit au moins 15 points.<\/p>

Hillmon a également transformé son jeu extérieur : après n’avoir inscrit qu’un seul trois points dans toute sa carrière avant 2025, elle en a marqué 53 cette saison. Le 30 juillet face aux Dallas Wings, elle a signé son record personnel avec 21 points et 5 tirs primés, dont un panier décisif à 2,6 secondes de la fin.<\/p>

Hillmon est devenue une figure de constance pour Atlanta : 151 matchs consécutifs disputés depuis ses débuts, dont l’intégralité des 124 dernières rencontres sur trois saisons.<\/p>

En récompense, elle recevra 5 150 dollars ainsi qu’un trophée commémoratif.<\/p>
