Selon les informations disponibles, les Los Angeles Lakers cherchent à ajouter un ailier supplémentaire à leur effectif. Plus précisément, la franchise californienne s’intéresse à Andrew Wiggins, actuellement au Miami Heat.<\/p>

Durant l’intersaison, plusieurs journalistes ont rapporté la volonté des Lakers. Selon Jovan Buha (The Athletic), Miami aurait réclamé un package comprenant Rui Hachimura, Dalton Knecht et un choix de premier tour de Draft. Toutefois, d’après Brett Siegel (Clutch Points), le Heat n’aurait en réalité aucun intérêt concret à échanger Wiggins, ce qui expliquerait une telle demande.<\/p>

« Pour l’instant, le Heat ne montre pas beaucoup d’intérêt à échanger Wiggins et préfère voir comment la saison va démarrer avant de prendre une décision », a rapporté Siegel mercredi. « Miami a fixé un prix élevé pour l’ancien premier choix de Draft, un prix que les Lakers ne sont pas disposés à payer. »<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Ainsi, il est très probable qu’Andrew Wiggins commence la saison à Miami. En fonction de ses performances et de celles de l’équipe, la situation pourrait évoluer. La saison passée (2024-25), il a évolué avec les Golden State Warriors jusqu’en février, avant d’être transféré au Heat. Au total, il a disputé 60 matchs, compilant 18 points de moyenne, 37,4 % de réussite à trois points et 4,3 rebonds.<\/p>

Que peuvent offrir les Lakers dans un échange ?<\/h2>

Actuellement, l’équipe s’appuie sur LeBron James<\/a><\/strong> et Rui Hachimura<\/strong> comme titulaires sur les ailes, avec Jake LaRavia et Jarred Vanderbilt en sortie de banc. Le départ de Dorian Finney-Smith a toutefois fragilisé la rotation, rendant un renfort intéressant.<\/p>

Le problème reste la demande du Heat : inclure Hachimura, un titulaire important dont la valeur n’est pas si éloignée de celle de Wiggins. De plus, céder un choix de Draft reste un obstacle majeur, les Lakers souhaitant préserver leur avenir afin de bâtir une équipe compétitive autour de Luka Doncic. Los Angeles serait toutefois prêt à inclure Dalton Knecht, en perte de vitesse depuis la dernière trade deadline.<\/p>

De son côté, Wiggins dispose encore de deux ans de contrat avec Miami, mais il peut choisir de sortir de son deal à la fin de cette saison pour devenir agent libre. Un point qui joue en faveur des Lakers : Hachimura et LeBron arrivent également en fin de contrat cette année. Cela pourrait offrir à LA une flexibilité financière pour attirer Wiggins — et éventuellement d’autres joueurs — si jamais LeBron décidait de ne pas prolonger l’aventure.<\/p>
