Selon un journaliste, Draymond Green et Jimmy Butler ont pris contact avec l’ailier afin de tenter d’accélérer la conclusion de la situation.<\/p>

Même éliminés par les Minnesota Timberwolves en demi-finales des derniers playoffs, les Golden State Warriors abordaient l’intersaison NBA avec de bonnes attentes. L’arrivée de Jimmy Butler, via un échange, avait ravivé les ambitions de la franchise, permettant à Stephen Curry et Draymond Green de retrouver leur meilleur niveau. Pourtant, plus de deux mois après l’ouverture de la free agency, aucune recrue n’a encore rejoint l’équipe.<\/p>

La raison principale de ce blocage reste la lenteur des négociations autour de la prolongation de contrat de Jonathan Kuminga. Et, visiblement, la situation commence à agacer les principales stars du vestiaire dirigé par Steve Kerr. Selon Dalton Johnson, du podcast Dubs Talk<\/em><\/a>, Butler et Green ont personnellement échangé avec le jeune ailier dans l’espoir de hâter le dénouement des discussions.<\/p>

Pour l’heure, toutefois, aucun progrès concret n’a été signalé. Ces derniers jours, Shams Charania et Anthony Slater (ESPN) ont révélé que Golden State avait transmis une nouvelle proposition<\/a> à l’international congolais la semaine passée. L’offre tournerait autour de 75 millions de dollars sur trois ans<\/strong>, avec une team option<\/strong> pour la dernière saison, clause qui n’aurait pas satisfait le joueur.<\/p>

Warriors : un mercato toujours bloqué<\/h2>

La résolution du dossier Kuminga est devenue centrale dans la stratégie estivale des Dubs. Actuellement agent libre restreint, le joueur peut encore accepter l’offre qualificative<\/strong> d’environ 7 millions de dollars<\/strong> pour la saison 2025-26, ce qui lui permettrait de devenir agent libre non restreint l’été prochain et de signer librement où il le souhaite.<\/p>

À l’inverse, s’il accepte la dernière offre des Warriors, la masse salariale de la franchise explosera de nouveau au-dessus du plafond, exposant Golden State à de lourdes pénalités financières. Mais ce choix libérerait aussi l’équipe pour finaliser les arrivées déjà convenues verbalement depuis la fin de la saison.<\/p>

D’après les informations rapportées, Al Horford<\/strong>, De’Anthony Melton<\/strong> et Gary Payton II<\/strong> seraient déjà d’accord de principe avec les Warriors. La confirmation de ces signatures dépend désormais de l’issue des négociations avec Kuminga.<\/p>
