La liste des Quarterbacks blessés continuent de s’agrandir au sortir de cette Week 2 de matchs en NFL avec JJ McCarthy absent en Week 3.<\/a><\/p>

La grande messe du SNF (Sunday Night Football) devait accoucher d’une belle victoire sur la scène nationale en Prime Time pour les Atlanta Falcons ou les Minnesota Vikings.<\/p>

Au sortir du match Minnesota Vikings vs Atlanta Vikings au U.S Bank Stadium, les Falcons se sont imposés 22 à 6 dans un match assez convenu et terne. Des échanges de Field Goals et bien peu de jeux pour s’enthousiasmer. Seul le touchdown de Tyler Allgeier<\/a> évitera l’accumulation de coups de pied des Kickers.<\/p>

Il en ressortira une défaite pour Minnesota et une perte peut-être bien plus lourde. JJ McCarthy finira le match dans son entièreté mais sa prestation peu reluisante a, peut-être, été influencée par une mobilité restreinte d’une des ses chevilles.<\/p>

C’est Adam Schefter d’ESPN qui révèle que le joueur aurait fragilisé sa cheville plus tôt dans la pré saison. Pire, n’aurait il pas aggravé les choses ?<\/p>

Durant cette rencontre, il se serait, cette fois-ci, fait une entorse de la cheville.<\/p>

JJ McCarthy totalisera 11 passes complétées sur 21, pour 158 yards à la passe et 2 interceptions. C’est surtout les 6 sacks de la défense des Falcons qui interrogent. La ligne offensive semble fautive mais JJ McCarthy aurait manqué de mobilité dans cette rencontre.<\/p>

Retour de Carson Wentz aux affaires<\/h2>

Cette blessure de quelques semaines permettra le retour d’une figure bien connue de la ligue, Carson Wentz.<\/p>

L’ancien pensionnaire de North Dakota State, choisi en 2ème choix du 1er tour de la Draft 2016 par les Philadelphia Eagles, aura eu son moment de stabilité durant 5 saisons en Pennsylvanie mais joue au Globe Trotter depuis 2021 passant de titulaire chez les Colts à doublure chez les Commanders, Rams et dernièrement les Chiefs.<\/p>

Il aura joué 3 bouts de match chez les Chiefs pour 12 passes complétées sur 19 tentées, 118 yards pour aucun touchdown et 4 sacks.<\/p>

Ayant bousculé leur hiérarchie de Quarterbacks avec l’arrivée de Wentz fin Août, Mr Doublure, depuis 3 ans, devra vite s’adapter à ses nouveaux coéquipiers rapidement vu qu’il n’a pas eu la préparation complète durant toute l’intersaison.<\/p>
