La tension monte encore d’un cran en AFC Nord! À quelques jours du duel de division entre les Cleveland Browns et les Baltimore Ravens, les Browns affichent une confiance à toute épreuve face aux stars adverses. Interrogé jeudi sur la difficulté de stopper Derrick Henry, Grant Delpit, le safety de Cleveland, n’a pas hésité a offrir une réponse qui ne manque pas d’audace: <\/p>

« Ce n’est pas difficile. » a affirmé le joueur défensif de la franchise de l’Ohio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Une déclaration audacieuse quand on connaît la réputation du coureur des Ravens. Arrivé à Baltimore en 2024, Henry a immédiatement marqué les esprits avec plus de 2 000 yards et 18 touchdowns cumulés. Sa puissance et sa capacité à briser les plaquages (42 au total la saison passée) font de lui l’un des running backs les plus redoutés de la NFL. En ouverture cette année, il a encore impressionné face aux Bills avec 169 yards et deux touchdowns, même si une perte de balle a coûté cher à son équipe.<\/p>

Cleveland veut relever le défi<\/h2>

Pourtant, Cleveland refuse de se laisser intimider. La veille, Jerry Jeudy, atout offensif des Browns, avait déjà minimisé l’impact du backfield défensif de Baltimore<\/a>, menée par Kyle Hamilton et Marlon Humphrey. Delpit a repris le flambeau en ciblant cette fois Derrick Henry, symbole de l’attaque ravageuse orchestrée par Lamar Jackson.<\/p>

\n

« Ne faites pas comme Buffalo, c’était un mauvais exemple », a ajouté Delpit, rappelant que les Bills avaient encaissé 40 points avant de s’incliner. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Le défenseur assure que Cleveland connaît bien son rival de division et qu’un plan spécifique est en place. Reste que les chiffres parlent pour Henry : 211 yards et trois touchdowns inscrits contre les Browns en deux matchs l’an dernier. Un défi colossal attend donc Cleveland ce dimanche. Derrick Henry, de son côté, a choisi la sobriété dans sa réaction ce jeudi: <\/p>

« On verra dimanche. » a-t-il simplement déclaré<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>
