Les universités qui mènent également le Top 25 de l’Associated Press ont chacune placé trois représentants dans l’équipe idéale.<\/p>

Les programmes de Texas<\/strong> et Penn State<\/strong> se sont imposés comme ceux ayant le plus de joueurs sélectionnés dans l’All-America Team de pré-saison du College Football<\/strong>, dévoilée par l’Associated Press ce lundi 18 août. Leaders du classement AP Top 25<\/a><\/strong>, ces deux équipes ont chacune placé trois athlètes<\/strong> dans la sélection idéale des talents appelés à briller lors de la prochaine saison de football américain universitaire.<\/p>

Classée numéro un du pays, Texas<\/strong> a vu ses trois représentants retenus en défense : le pass rusher Colin Simmons<\/strong>, le linebacker Anthony Hill Jr.<\/strong> et le safety Michael Taaffe<\/strong>. Du côté de Penn State<\/strong>, ce sont le running back Nicholas Singleton<\/strong>, l’offensive lineman Olaivavega Ioane<\/strong> et le defensive lineman Zane Durant<\/strong> qui ont été choisis.<\/p>

D’autres programmes du haut du classement national ont également été mis en avant. Ohio State<\/strong> (3e), Clemson<\/strong> (4e), Notre Dame<\/strong> (6e) et Alabama<\/strong> (8e) comptent deux joueurs chacun<\/strong> dans la liste. Pittsburgh<\/strong> a également vu deux de ses athlètes sélectionnés.<\/p>

La SEC en force<\/h2>

Au niveau des conférences, la SEC<\/a> domine largement avec 12 joueurs<\/strong> sur les 27 sélectionnés, devant la Big Ten<\/strong> (7), l’ACC<\/strong> (4) et la Big 12<\/strong> (2).<\/p>

La version officielle de l’All-America Team<\/strong> de la saison régulière sera publiée en décembre. Un moment très attendu, puisqu’il marquera le 100e anniversaire<\/strong> de la première sélection de l’Associated Press, publiée en 1925.<\/p>
