Pendant ces camps d’entraînement, le quarterback des Colts<\/a>, Anthony Richardson, ne veut pas laisser sa chance passer. Après l’arrivée de l’ancien des Giants, Daniel Jones, au sein de la franchise de l’Indiana, la compétition pour être titulaire fait rage. Cependant, le quarterback de troisième année se voit confiant et se donne les moyens aux entraînements pour redevenir titulaire.<\/p>

Il faut dire que Richardson n’a pas connu le meilleur début de carrière. Blessé pendant la majorité de son année rookie, celui-ci est revenu en deuxième année dans une franchise jouant une place pour les playoffs. Cependant, malgré quelques coups d’éclats plutôt impressionnants, Anthony Richardson manque de régularité dans ses passes. A vrai dire, le joueur de seulement 23 ans n’a complété que 47.7% de ses passes la saison dernière.<\/p>

« Je dois simplement travailler comme si j’allais être le titulaire dès le premier jour », a déclaré<\/a> Richardson. « Quelle que soit leur décision, je continue à travailler et à m’améliorer. Ils prendront la meilleure décision pour cette équipe, et c’est ce dont nous avons besoin. Cette équipe veut remporter le Super Bowl. Il ne s’agit pas de moi, mais de l’équipe. Je travaille simplement comme si j’étais le titulaire, et si je n’obtiens pas le poste, eh bien, gloire à Dieu. »<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Pour ce qui est de Daniel Jones, celui-ci vit au jour le jour et estime ne pas penser à ce qui l’attend le 7 septembre prochain, lors du match d’ouverture face aux Dolphins. <\/p>

« Notre travail en tant que joueurs consiste à nous présenter, à travailler et à nous améliorer chaque jour », a déclaré Jones. « On est humain, on pense à où on en est et comment ça se passe, mais je dois faire de mon mieux pour me concentrer sur ce qui m’attend. »<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Cette saison va être cruciale pour la carrière des deux quarterbacks. Richardson et Jones ont tous deux été draftés assez haut dans la draft, sans pour autant remplir les objectifs qu’un tel pick pouvait impliquer.
