Les San Francisco 49ers sont confrontés à un différend contractuel avec le receveur Jauan Jennings, qui espère obtenir une revalorisation salariale ou un échange durant cette intersaison de la NFL. <\/p>

Toutefois, un départ semble « improbable », selon Vic Tafur de The Athletic<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>

La profondeur de l’effectif au poste de wide receiver joue en faveur du maintien de Jennings. Alors que Deebo Samuel a été transféré aux Washington Commanders après une saison décevante, Brandon Aiyuk se remet d’une blessure ligamentaire au genou et pourrait manquer une partie de la saison 2025.<\/p>

Jennings entre dans la dernière année d’un contrat de deux saisons signé lors de l’intersaison 2024, d’une valeur de 15,39 millions de dollars. D’après Shams Charania (ESPN), il comptera pour 4,258 millions de dollars contre le salary cap des 49ers en 2025.<\/p>

Une bonne saison 2024 pour justifier ses exigences<\/h2>

La demande de Jennings s’explique par une très bonne saison NFL<\/a> 2024 : 975 yards, 77 réceptions — ses meilleurs totaux en carrière — et six touchdowns.<\/p>

Toujours selon Charania, Jennings aurait exprimé clairement son souhait d’être échangé si ses demandes ne sont pas satisfaites. Malgré tout, le joueur devrait participer au training camp, même s’il est insatisfait de sa situation actuelle. Il est pressenti pour être titulaire aux côtés de Aiyuk et Ricky Pearsall en 2025.<\/p>

À noter que ses deux coéquipiers ont été placés sur la liste des joueurs “physically unable to perform” vendredi dernier (18 juillet) : Aiyuk pour son genou et Pearsall pour une blessure aux ischio-jambiers. Ces blessures pourraient inciter la franchise à finalement accéder aux revendications contractuelles de Jennings.<\/p>
