L’ancien champion de Formule 2 Mick Schumacher a connu une carrière difficile en Formule 1<\/a>. Arrivé en 2021 chez Haas, celui-ci n’aura tenu que deux saisons en F1 avant de se faire remplacer par Nico Hülkenberg pour 2023. Il faut dire que le jeune allemand n’avait pas le matériel nécessaire pour s’exprimer, avec une monoplace 2021 jugée comme l’une des pires de ces dernières décennies, et une en 2022 inégale week-end après week-end.<\/p>

Cependant, après son passage chez Haas, Schumacher n’a pas retrouvé de baquet en Formule 1 et s’est rabattu en 2024 en WEC. Il a rejoint l’année dernière l’écurie d’endurance Alpine. Cependant, malgré un épanouissement en WEC, le pilote de 26 ans aimerait retrouver la Formule 1. L’arrivée d’une onzième écurie sur la grille est une opportunité en or pour le fils du septuple champion du monde de Formule 1. <\/p>

Pour compléter les deux baquets libres chez Cadillac, de nombreux noms sortent mois après mois. Tout d’abord, Cadillac aimerait d’abord un pilote vétéran, connaissant le sport et comment développer une voiture. Pour cela, deux noms sortent du lot, à savoir Valtteri Bottas et Sergio Pérez. D’un autre côté, Cadillac pourrait éventuellement vouloir un jeune pilote pour accompagner leur vétéran. Et pour cela, les noms de Mick Schumacher et Felipe Drugovich sortent en tête.<\/p>

Mick Schumacher ne cache pas ses intentions de revenir en Formule 1. Celui-ci évoque des discussions fructueuses avec la future écurie américaine.<\/p>

« Oui, bien sûr, des discussions sont en cours. La communication a été très positive jusqu’à présent. Ils ont déjà embauché un nombre fantastique de personnes. C’est un honneur d’être lié à eux, de négocier avec eux, et c’est très bien d’être dans une telle situation. »<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Mick Schumacher a besoin de Cadillac pour se relancer, mais est-ce que Cadillac a besoin de Schumacher pour débuter son aventure en Formule 1 ? Graeme Lowdon, directeur de l’écurie américaine, s’est récemment prononcé à ce sujet.<\/p>

« Tout le monde veut prouver des choses », a-t-il déclaré<\/a>. « Je ne considère jamais cet aspect comme la source de motivation principale. Notre équipe n’est pas là pour servir de véhicule à la volonté des gens de prouver quoi que ce soit. Notre équipe est là pour offrir une place sur le terrain, si vous préférez. » <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Il est clair que les débuts de Cadillac en Formule 1 soient difficiles. Il est peu probable que l’écurie soit au niveau de Mercedes ou McLaren. Pour cela, Cadillac a besoin de développer sa voiture mais également d’argent, beaucoup d’argent. C’est pour cela que Pérez reste un candidat favorable à l’écurie, en raison de son expérience et de ses sponsors.<\/p>

D’un autre côté, qu’il le veuille ou non, Mick Schumacher dispose de l’un des noms les plus prestigieux du sport automobile. Bien qu’il ne soit pas son père, les sponsors peuvent être attirer par ce nom chez Cadillac.<\/p>
