Valtteri Bottas est confortablement installé dans les coulisses de l’écurie Mercedes en tant que pilote réserviste. Bien qu’il se la coule douce, le Finlandais ne cache pas ses ambitions de revenir sur la grille de Formule 1. Sa meilleure chance, jusqu’à présent, se trouvait du côté de la future onzième écurie du plateau, à savoir Cadillac. Cependant, des discussions anticipées auraient eu lieu récemment entre le clan du Finlandais et l’écurie Alpine, selon TheRace<\/a>.<\/p>

L’écurie Alpine connaît une saison très compliquée, figurant largement à la dixième et dernière place du championnat. Il faut également noter que l’écurie française n’a pas été tendre avec ses pilotes. Ayant signé Jack Doohan en fin de saison dernière, celui-ci a été mis à l’écart par Alpine au profit de Franco Colapinto à Imola. <\/p>

Cependant, l’Argentin n’a guère plus impressionné que son prédécesseur Australien. Les deux pilotes sont désormais les seuls à n’avoir inscrit aucun point lors de cette saison. Il faut tout de même souligner le fait qu’Alpine est la pire écurie du plateau, et que les deux pilotes étaient inexpérimentés. <\/p>

Quoi qu’il en soit, lorsque Flavio Briatore a mis Colapinto dans la voiture, celui-ci lui avait donné cinq courses pour performer. Le Grand Prix d’Autriche marquait la cinquième course de l’Argentin pour l’écurie française. Briatore est cependant revenu sur ses mots ce week-end, affirmant n’avoir donné aucune date limite à son jeune pilotes.<\/p>

Une opportunité en or pour Valtteri Bottas ?<\/h2>

Alpine et le management de Briatore introduisent un nouveau type de contrat en Formule 1. Le deuxième baquet Alpine est presque intermittent, étant donné que l’écurie est sur le point de changer pour la troisième fois de pilote avant la mi-saison. Si le nom de Bottas est désormais associé à ce siège, ceux que Mick Schumacher, pilote WEC Alpine, et de Paul Aron, jeune réserviste, sont aussi liés à celui-ci. D’ailleurs, Paul Aron va participer à la FP1 de Silverstone dans la Kick Sauber.<\/p>

La rumeur concernant Bottas a débuté lorsqu’une rencontre entre Flavio Briatore et Toto Wolff, directeur de Mercedes, a eu lieu dans le paddock à Spielberg. Même si le sujet exact n’est pas connu, la rumeur tournerait vers la disponibilité de Bottas pour redevenir titulaire en F1. <\/p>

A l’image d’un Esteban Ocon en 2020, Mercedes semble prêt à aider son réserviste vétéran à retrouver un baquet en Formule 1<\/a>. Alpine est peut-être aujourd’hui une solution miraculeuse pour Bottas, qui aura une moitié de saison pour faire ses preuves. Cependant, les discussions restent au point d’une hypothèse, rien d’encore concret n’a été effectué.<\/p>

Voir Bottas dans l’A525 à Silverstone est peu probable. Cependant, au vu du management de Briatore et son envie immédiate de performances, le voir à Spa ou après la trêve estivale reste bien plus probable.<\/p>
