Un All-Star Game à Atlanta ne serait pas complet sans Ronald Acuña Jr. La star des Braves a annoncé ce mercredi 25 juin qu’il participera au Home Run Derby<\/strong> qui se tiendra au Truist Park<\/strong> le 14 juillet<\/strong>. <\/p>

Il s’agira de sa troisième participation<\/strong> à l’événement, et il tentera de devenir le premier joueur des Braves<\/strong> à remporter le concours. Pour l’heure, Acuña Jr. est le seul joueur à avoir confirmé sa présence<\/strong>.<\/p>

Acuña Jr. a disputé son premier Home Run Derby en 2019, frappant 25 home runs au premier tour, mais s’inclinant en demi-finale face à Pete Alonso<\/strong>, futur vainqueur du tournoi. Il est revenu en 2022, mais a une nouvelle fois croisé la route d’Alonso – alors double tenant du titre – et a perdu par seulement deux home runs d’écart.<\/p>

Ronald Acuña Jr. en 2025 : le retour du MVP<\/strong><\/h2>

Cette saison 2025 de MLB marque un retour en force<\/strong> pour l’outfielder vénézuélien, après une rupture du ligament croisé antérieur l’an dernier, qui l’avait limité à seulement 49 matchs<\/strong>. Après plus d’un an de rééducation, il a fait son retour fin mai<\/strong>.<\/p>

Depuis, Acuña Jr. a repris son rôle de leader<\/strong> chez les Braves, contribuant à redresser une équipe qui avait démarré la saison avec sept défaites consécutives<\/strong>. En 30 matchs disputés en 2025<\/strong>, Atlanta affiche un bilan de 13 victoires pour 17 défaites<\/strong>, et mène actuellement sa série face aux New York Mets<\/strong>. L’ancien MVP de la Ligue Nationale affiche une moyenne au bâton de 38,3 %<\/strong>, avec 9 home runs<\/strong>, 18 points produits<\/strong> et 4 bases volées<\/strong>.<\/p>

Détails du Home Run Derby 2025<\/strong><\/h2>

Ronald Acuña Jr. est le premier joueur à s’engager officiellement<\/strong> pour le Home Run Derby 2025. Pete Crow-Armstrong<\/strong>, outfielder des Chicago Cubs<\/strong> et l’un des dix meilleurs frappeurs de la ligue cette saison, a déclaré qu’il ne participera pas<\/strong> à l’événement.<\/p>

Le concours aura lieu le 14 juillet<\/strong> au Truist Park, à Atlanta, et réunira huit joueurs<\/strong> dans un format à élimination directe sur trois tours<\/strong>. Le champion en titre est Teoscar Hernandez<\/strong>, des Los Angeles Dodgers<\/strong>.<\/p>
