Les rumeurs autour de Kevin Durant<\/strong> prennent de l’ampleur en cette intersaison. Alors que son contrat arrive à échéance à la fin de la saison 2025-26, l’ailier superstar des Phoenix Suns serait activement impliqué dans des discussions de transfert, selon un rapport d’ESPN. <\/p>

Trois équipes figureraient parmi ses destinations favorites : le Miami Heat<\/strong>, les San Antonio Spurs<\/strong> et les Houston Rockets<\/strong>. Ces franchises seraient celles avec lesquelles Durant accepterait de s’engager sur le long terme via une prolongation de contrat.<\/p>

Actuellement, Durant entre dans la dernière année de son contrat de 54,7 millions de dollars. À son expiration, il deviendra agent libre. Si certaines équipes supplémentaires figurent dans la short list du joueur pour un éventuel transfert, les Suns, eux, étudieraient toutes les propositions des huit franchises intéressées, peu importe les préférences de leur star. <\/p>

Autrement dit, Phoenix pourrait l’envoyer ailleurs que dans les destinations souhaitées par KD.<\/p>

Les rumeurs de départ de Kevin Durant remontent à février 2025. À cette époque, il aurait même refusé une proposition de retour aux Golden State Warriors, l’équipe avec laquelle il a remporté deux titres NBA.<\/p>

Analyse du scénario de transfert<\/strong> de Kevin Durant<\/h2>

Même si Durant privilégie trois équipes, ce sont bien huit franchises qui souhaiteraient l’acquérir. Miami, bien que ne possédant pas d’effectif calibré pour le titre à l’heure actuelle, pourrait séduire la star avec son statut fiscal avantageux (absence d’impôt sur le revenu). Les Spurs et les Rockets, eux, disposent d’effectifs jeunes et prometteurs. L’arrivée d’un vétéran expérimenté comme Durant pourrait transformer leurs ambitions à court terme.<\/p>

En cas de transfert, Kevin Durant, 15 fois All-Star, pourra signer une prolongation de contrat de deux ans pour un montant de 122 millions de dollars à partir du 6 juillet 2025. S’il attend six mois supplémentaires, cette extension pourrait atteindre les 124 millions. Il fêtera ses 37 ans en septembre, mais reste extrêmement performant : en 2024-25, il a tourné à 26,6 points, 6 rebonds et 4,2 passes décisives en 62 matchs.<\/p>

Durant a également établi un record en NBA : il a enchaîné trois saisons consécutives à au moins 25 points par match, 50 % au tir global et 40 % à trois points. Des statistiques d’une efficacité rare, malgré son âge.<\/p>

Les Suns, un projet en déclin<\/strong><\/h3>

Malgré un trio impressionnant composé de Durant, Devin Booker et Bradley Beal, les Suns ont déçu cette saison avec un bilan de 36 victoires pour 46 défaites, terminant à la 11e place à l’Ouest. Depuis son arrivée, Phoenix a connu deux éliminations précoces en playoffs : en 2023 contre les Nuggets (au deuxième tour), puis en 2024 face aux Timberwolves (sweep au premier tour).<\/p>

Alors que Durant et les Suns s’activent pour trouver une issue favorable, la NBA se prépare peut-être à voir une nouvelle ère débuter pour l’un des plus grands joueurs de sa génération.<\/p>
