La FIA a approuvé la requête transmise par Red Bull concernant la superlicence d’Arvid Lindblad. Celui-ci évolue actuellement en Formule 2 du côté de Campos et à seulement 17 ans, le jeune Britannique fait déjà parler de lui. Il a notamment remporté sa première course principale à Barcelone et est actuellement classé troisième du championnat.<\/p>

Arvid Lindblad aura 18 ans le 8 août prochain mais Red Bull a déposé une requête auprès de la FIA afin de le faire monter dans une F1 <\/a>avant cette date. A l’image d’un Andrea Kimi Antonelli l’année dernière, Red Bull active à son tour une clause du Code Sportif International de la FIA afin de permettre à sa jeune pépite de découvrir la F1 avant ses 18 ans.<\/p>

« La FIA a reçu une demande d’octroi d’une Super Licence à Arvid Lindblad avant son 18e anniversaire », déclare la FIA<\/a> dans un communiqué. « Après avoir examiné les informations présentées à l’appui de cette demande, le Conseil mondial a estimé que le pilote avait récemment et constamment fait preuve d’une capacité et d’une maturité exceptionnelles en formule monoplace et a donc approuvé la demande. »<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Qu’est-ce que cela veut dire pour Arvid Lindblad et Red Bull ?<\/h2>

Cette dérogation va permettre au Britannique de pouvoir rouler en Formule 1, que ce soit dans le cadre d’une séance officielle ou de tests privés. Il pourra ainsi figurer dans une séance d’essais libres, mais également dans une monoplace lors d’un week-end de course, étant donné que Max Verstappen n’est désormais qu’à un point de pénalité de se faire suspendre lors d’une course.<\/p>

A noter que Red Bull avait effectué cette demande avant que le Néerlandais subisse son énorme pénalité à Barcelone. En cas de suspension de Verstappen, Lindblad pourrait avoir sa chance dans une Racing Bulls pendant la durée d’un week-end.<\/p>

De plus, Arvid Lindblad sera un pilote à surveiller dans la silly season du côté de chez Red Bull. Après une domination d’Isack Hadjar sur son coéquipier Liam Lawson, Lindblad pourrait très vite accéder à une promotion chez Racing Bulls pour 2026, voire même avant.<\/p>

Ce qui est sûr, c’est que la pépite de Red Bull se retrouvera très prochainement derrière le volant d’une monoplace de Formule 1. <\/p>
