Le futur d’Austin Reaves aux Los Angeles Lakers semble de plus en plus incertain. Selon Eric Pincus de Bleacher Report<\/em>, l’arrière serait enclin à décliner son option de joueur pour la saison NBA 2026-2027. <\/p>

Il souhaiterait ainsi tester le marché en tant qu’agent libre non restreint, dans l’espoir d’obtenir un contrat avoisinant les 30 millions de dollars par an.<\/p>

Un écart salarial qui pourrait éloigner Reaves de Los Angeles<\/strong><\/h2>

Ce scénario s’explique par le fait que, selon les règles actuelles, le montant maximal que les Lakers pourraient lui offrir via une prolongation ne dépasse pas 19,5 millions de dollars annuels. Cet écart financier réduit donc considérablement les chances de voir Reaves rester à Los Angeles.<\/p>

De plus, la franchise californienne est en pleine transition. À moyen terme, elle pourrait devoir reconstruire son effectif autour de Luka Doncic, selon certaines rumeurs en coulisses. Cela impliquerait de tourner la page sur des figures comme LeBron James ou même Reaves.<\/p>

Reaves, un élément important… mais aussi un atout précieux<\/strong><\/h2>

Bien qu’il soit aujourd’hui l’un des joueurs les plus efficaces de l’équipe, Reaves représente aussi une monnaie d’échange de grande valeur. En dehors des choix de premier tour de draft 2031 et 2032, il est considéré comme le meilleur atout des Lakers dans l’optique de futures négociations.<\/p>

Par conséquent, afin de renforcer leur secteur intérieur par exemple, les Lakers pourraient envisager d’inclure Reaves dans un échange pour un pivot dominant. Même si la franchise apprécie ses performances, le contexte économique et la vision à long terme devraient peser lourd dans la balance.<\/p>

Le front office devra donc agir avec précaution. L’éventualité de voir Reaves partir sans contrepartie inquiète, surtout s’il décide de quitter l’équipe durant l’intersaison pour obtenir un contrat plus lucratif ailleurs.<\/p>

En résumé<\/strong>, l’avenir d’Austin Reaves reste flou — et les Lakers doivent déjà envisager des alternatives si jamais leur arrière décidait de prendre un nouveau départ.<\/p>
