Toujours selon Fowler, une transaction pourrait néanmoins être facilitée si une troisième équipe acceptait d’absorber une partie du salaire de Cousins. Le dimanche 1er juin pourrait d’ailleurs être une date clé dans ce dossier : en cas de transfert après cette date, Atlanta économiserait environ 27,5 millions de dollars dans sa masse salariale.<\/p>
Alors que la franchise s’apprête à débuter ses préparatifs pour la saison à venir, Pittsburgh attend toujours une décision claire de la part d’Aaron Rodgers. Récemment, le propriétaire de la franchise, Art Rooney, a déclaré rester patient dans les discussions avec le joueur, même si celles-ci durent depuis plusieurs mois.<\/p>
Que ce soit avec Rodgers ou Cousins, les Steelers vont devoir trancher rapidement. À l’heure actuelle, Mike Tomlin dispose de Mason Rudolph, Will Howard et Skylar Thompson comme options au poste de quarterback.<\/p>
