La loterie de la Draft NBA 2025<\/strong> s’est tenue ce lundi soir (12 mai) à Chicago, dans l’Illinois. Les fans de basketball du monde entier ont enfin obtenu la réponse à une question récurrente de chaque intersaison : qui obtiendra le premier choix de la Draft ?<\/strong><\/p>

Cette année, la franchise chanceuse est les Dallas Mavericks<\/strong> alors qu’ils n’avaient que 1.8% de chance d’être choisi en première position. Le deuxième choix<\/strong> revient aux San Antonio Spurs<\/strong>, et le troisième<\/strong> aux Philadelphia 76ers<\/strong>.<\/p>

    Une deuxième fois historique pour Dallas<\/strong><\/h3>

    Pour la deuxième fois de leur histoire<\/strong>, les Mavericks auront l’honneur d’ouvrir la sélection du Draft. La première fois remonte à 1981<\/strong>, un an après la création de la franchise, lorsqu’ils avaient sélectionné l’ailier Mark Aguirre<\/strong>. En 2025, Cooper Flagg<\/a><\/strong> est pressenti pour occuper cette place de numéro un. <\/p>

    Le jeune joueur a impressionné les fans et les recruteurs lors de sa seule saison universitaire sous les couleurs de la prestigieuse Université de Duke<\/strong> en NCAA.<\/p>

    Comment fonctionne la loterie du Draft NBA ?<\/strong><\/h3>

    Les 14 équipes ayant eu les moins bons résultats<\/strong> de la saison régulière participent à la loterie avec des chances prédéfinies<\/strong> d’obtenir le premier choix. Cette probabilité dépend du bilan victoires\/défaites. Cette année, les Washington Wizards<\/strong>, Utah Jazz<\/strong> et Charlotte Hornets<\/strong>, qui ont terminé avec les pires bilans, avaient chacun 14 % de chances<\/strong> d’obtenir le premier pick.<\/p>

    Derrière, les New Orleans Pelicans<\/strong> (12,5 %) et les Philadelphia 76ers<\/strong> (10,5 %) complétaient le groupe des équipes avec au moins 10 % de chances. Toutefois, avoir le pire bilan n’assure pas le premier choix<\/strong>. En 2024, par exemple, les Atlanta Hawks<\/strong> ont décroché la première place avec seulement 3 % de chances, tandis que les Detroit Pistons<\/strong>, pourtant derniers au classement, n’ont hérité que du cinquième choix, le plus bas possible pour une telle situation. <\/p>

    Entre 2020 et 2023<\/strong>, en revanche, les équipes disposant de 14 % de chances avaient bel et bien remporté le premier choix.<\/p>

    Quand a lieu le NBA Draft 2025 ?<\/strong><\/h3>

    Le NBA Draft 2025<\/strong> se déroulera en deux jours<\/strong>.<\/p>

      \n
    • Le 25 juin<\/strong>, la première manche verra les 30 premiers choix<\/strong> annoncés par le commissaire Adam Silver<\/strong>, au Barclays Center<\/strong> de Brooklyn.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Le 26 juin<\/strong>, ce sera au tour de Mark Tatum<\/strong>, commissaire adjoint, de dévoiler les 30 sélections de la deuxième manche<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>
