Anthony Edwards<\/strong> assume pleinement le rôle d’underdog que son équipe, les Minnesota Timberwolves, endosse à l’approche de la série de Playoffs face aux Lakers. Interrogé lors d’un point presse sur le battage médiatique autour de la franchise californienne et sur le sondage réalisé par ESPN donnant LeBron james & Co larges favoris dans la série, Antman ne s’est pas fait prier pour expliquer ce qu’il en pensait.<\/p>

« J’adore ça. C’est génial. J’aime le fait que tout le monde veuille voir les Lakers gagner. C’est comme ça que ça doit être. Personne ne veut que les Timberwolves gagnent. Je le comprends parfaitement. »<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Anthony Edwards est lucide sur l’énorme notoriété des Purple & Gold et sur l’attention constante que leur porte les médias. Une aura qui s’explique notamment par l’histoire prestigieuse de la franchise aux 18 titres de champion NBA<\/a> et par les statuts de LeBron James<\/strong> et Luka Doncic<\/strong>, véritables légendes vivantes du jeu. Pour autant le médaillé d’or aux jeux de Paris aavec Team USA ne s’avoue pas vaincu d’avance. Et semble même avoir une idée bien précise sur la stratégie à adopter pour vaincre l’ogre angelinos.<\/p>
