Les Phoenix Suns<\/strong> poursuivent leur lutte pour une place en play-in dans la Conférence Ouest de la NBA. Grâce à une excellente performance collective et un Kevin Durant étincelant, auteur de 42 points<\/strong>, la franchise de l’Arizona a battu les Cleveland Cavaliers<\/strong> sur le score de 123 à 112<\/strong>, ce vendredi (21), à domicile.<\/p>

Outre KD, Devin Booker<\/strong> s’est illustré avec 17 points et 10 passes décisives<\/strong> (double-double), Tyus Jones<\/strong> a ajouté 16 points<\/strong> et Royce O’Neale<\/strong> a terminé avec 15 points et 4 rebonds<\/strong>.<\/p>

Côté Cavaliers, les meilleurs marqueurs ont été Evan Mobley<\/strong> (16 points, 12 rebonds, 5 passes – double-double également), Darius Garland<\/strong> (18 points, 5 rebonds, 6 passes), De’Andre Hunter<\/strong> (17 points) et Ty Jerome<\/strong> (16 points, 5 passes).<\/p>

La contre-performance de Donovan Mitchell<\/strong> a marqué la rencontre : seulement 7 points à 2\/18 aux tirs<\/strong>, dont 0\/8 à trois points<\/strong>.<\/p>

Classement NBA<\/strong><\/h2>

Avec cette victoire, Phoenix (34-37)<\/strong> enchaîne un troisième succès consécutif<\/strong> et reste 10e à l’Ouest<\/strong>, donc toujours en zone de play-in.<\/p>

De son côté, Cleveland (56-14)<\/strong> subit une quatrième défaite de suite<\/strong>, mais conserve la 1ère place à l’Est<\/strong> et est déjà qualifié pour les playoffs<\/strong>.<\/p>

Cavaliers-Suns : le résumé<\/strong><\/h2>

La rencontre démarre sur les chapeaux de roues, à l’avantage des Suns, avec un festival de tirs à trois points<\/strong> de part et d’autre – sept réussites au total en début de match<\/strong>. Malgré un temps mort, les Cavaliers peinent à suivre le rythme imposé par Phoenix.<\/p>

En fin de premier quart-temps, Cleveland parvient à équilibrer le jeu et passe même brièvement devant, mais Phoenix termine la période en tête<\/strong>.<\/p>

Au deuxième quart, Royce O’Neale brille à longue distance<\/strong>, avec une adresse incroyable (5\/6 à trois points)<\/strong>, guidant les Suns qui prennent un avantage à deux chiffres<\/strong>.<\/p>

Avec plus de confiance, Phoenix contrôle le rythme et rejoint les vestiaires en tête, 62 à 51<\/strong>, face au deuxième meilleur bilan de la NBA<\/strong>.<\/p>

Au retour des vestiaires, les Suns maintiennent leur domination<\/strong>, creusant l’écart au score jusqu’à plus de 20 points d’avance<\/strong> à plusieurs reprises.<\/p>

Les Cavs tentent bien quelques sursauts avec leurs remplaçants, mais Kevin<\/strong> Durant (déjà à 32 points)<\/strong> garde le cap et Phoenix aborde le dernier quart avec une avance confortable : 98 à 79<\/strong>.<\/p>

Malgré l’écart, Cleveland tente un retour en fin de match<\/strong>, réduisant la différence à moins de 10 points<\/strong>, et ce, malgré la soirée catastrophique de Mitchell<\/strong>.<\/p>

Mais Phoenix gère la pression<\/strong> et scelle la victoire<\/strong> sur le score final de 123 à 112<\/strong>.<\/p>
