La défaite des Lakers cette nuit face aux Bucks assure au Thunder d’OKC la première place dans la conférence Ouest cette saison.<\/p>

Avec maintenant 12.5 matchs d’avance sur les Rockets, les coéquipiers de Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vont pouvoir terminer la saison l’esprit plus léger et se tourner d’ors et déjà vers les playoffs NBA. <\/p>

Les Lakers<\/a><\/strong> étaient la dernière équipe qui pouvait mathématiquement encore ravir la première place à OKC. Ils auront le luxe d’avoir l’avantage du terrain jusqu’en finale de conférence a minima. Le prochain objectif sera d’obtenir le meilleur bilan global de la ligue afin de se garantir aussi l’avantage du terrain en cas de participation aux finales NBA<\/a>.<\/p>

Cette saison le Thunder a été dominateur de bout en bout et consolide son statut de favori pour le titre cette saison. Dans la conférence Ouest, OKC a survolé tout le monde porté par un Shai Gilgeous-Alexander en route pour peut-être remporté son premier titre de MVP. <\/p>

Avec cette première place assurée, on peut s’attendre à ce que Mark Daignault repose ses cadres comme il l’a fait lors du match face aux 76ers. Mais attention à ne pas arriver en playoffs à court de forme. Le repos peut avoir un effet négatif sur les performances individuelles mais aussi collectives comme on peut le voir dans d’autre sports nord-américain. <\/p>
