Shohei Ohtani devrait faire ses débuts dans le Spring training 2025 ce vendredi face à une équipe qu’il connaît bien : les Angels.<\/p>

Dave Roberts a annoncé<\/a> qu’Ohtani jouerait au poste de frappeur désigné pour la rencontre. Pour l’instant, il n’a pas donné de date précise pour un retour sur le monticule pour le triple MVP. <\/p>

Son retour sur le monticule pourrait arriver « plus tôt que prévu » mais pas question de prendre de risque. Pour rappel, Shohei Ohtani s’était belssé à l’épaule lors des World Series 2024 face aux Yankees en glissant vers la deuxième base. <\/p>

Depuis son arrivée chez les Dodgers, Shohei Ohtani n’a joué qu’une partie de son rôle en n’étant que frappeur. Les Dodgers sont donc impatient de le voir intégrer la rotation déjà riche en talent.<\/p>

La saison dernière, Shohei Ohtani a frappé 54 home runs et volé 59 bases pour remporter son troisième titre de MVP à l’unanimité<\/a>. <\/p>

Yamamoto en difficulté face aux Brewers<\/h2>

Hier soir, l’autre lanceur japonais de l’effectif des Dodgers, Yoshinobu Yamamoto a connu une sortie quelque peu difficile. Opposé aux brewers de Christian Yelich, Yamamoto a lancé 2 manches 1\/3 et concédé 4 coups sûrs, 3 points mérité et 2 buts sur balle tout en retirant 2 frappeurs sur prises. <\/p>

« Je me sentais bien, je n’ai pas forcé mes lancers. Mais par la suite j’ai concédé deux points tout en continuant à tester de nouvelles choses. j’ai cherché à travailler sur la localisation de mes lancers. »<\/p>

Les Dodgers se sont finalement imposés 9 à 3 dans la rencontre avec notamment le très bon match de David Bote placé en première base. Bote a terminé avec un 2\/3 au bâton et 4 points produits avec un home run dans la 5è manche. <\/p>
