Les Lions n’iront pas chercher un gros pass rusher durant l’intersaison, avec un retour attendu d’Aidan Hutchinson en pleine forme. En tout début de saison 2024, Aidan Hutchinson<\/a> effectuaient des débuts stratosphériques avant de se fracturer tibia et le péroné de la jambe gauche en week 6. <\/p>

Pour cette saison 2025, Aidan Hutchinson est vu comme le favori pour remporter le Comeback Player of The Year, ainsi que le Defensive Player of The Year. <\/p>

« Ce type était en train de vivre une année phénoménale », a déclaré Kelvin Sheppard<\/a>, DC des Lions. « Ce type est prêt à se mettre en couverture s’il s’avère qu’ils font tourner trois personnes en protection vers lui. Il se laissera tomber sans hésiter et comprendra l’aspect de la couverture, il voudra s’y investir. J’ai donc pleinement confiance en Hutch ».<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Aidan Hutchinson avait totalisé 7.5 sacks au cours de la saison 2024, le plus haut total de son équipe, malgré 12 matchs manqués. Cette ligne de statistique montre à quel point le jeune joueur de 24 ans est important pour cette défense des Lions. <\/p>

Le numéro 2 de la draft 2022 est attendu en pleine forme pour les activités d’intersaison et devrait vraisemblablement débuter la saison 2025 dans un état d’esprit revanchard par rapport à 2024.<\/p>

« J’ai la certitude qu’il sera rétabli », a déclaré Sheppard.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Hutchinson sera également éligible à une prolongation de contrat après la saison 2025.<\/p>
