NCAA – Travis Hunter, joueur hybride de l’université de Colorado, a remporté ce samedi le Heisman Trophy pour récompenser sa brillante saison 2024.<\/h2>

Contrairement à la NFL, le trophée de meilleur joueur de l’année n’est pas constamment remis à un quarterback en NCAA: Travis Hunter<\/a> en est une nouvelle fois la preuve ultime. Le joueur des Colorado Buffaloes, équipe universitaire entraînée par Deion Sanders, a remporté ce samedi le Heisman Trophy qui vient récompenser le meilleur joueur universitaire de la saison. La particularité de ce joueur? Hunter est aussi brillant comme cornerback que comme receveur et reste à l’aise des deux côtés du terrain.<\/p>

Pour preuve, ses statistiques lors de la saison 2024 ne laissent aucune place à l’équivoque. En défense, Travis Hunter a réussi 21 plaquages, 4 interceptions, 11 passes défendues et un fumble forcé qui fut crucial dans la victoire de son équipe. Mais Hunter ne s’arrête pas en si bon chemin et réussit aussi des performances plus qu’intéressantes en attaque avec 92 réceptions pour 1152 yards et 14 touchdowns inscrits rien que dans cette saison NCAA 2024.<\/p>

Dans les votes de ce Heisman Trophy 2024, Travis Hunter devance le running back Ashton Jenty, le quarterback d’Oregon Dillon Gabriel et celui de Miami Cam Ward. Il succède alors au palmarès à Jayden Daniels qui avait remporté le Heisman Trophy en 2023<\/a> avant de connaître la réussite cette saison en NFL avec les Washington Commanders.<\/p>
