38.5 millions d’américains ont pris place devant la FOX<\/a>, diffuseur de la rencontre, pour assister au match. Une belle performance d’audience pour deux équipes qui sont en grande difficulté depuis le début de la saison et qui étaient tous les deux privés de leur quarterback titulaire!<\/p>Ces 38.5 millions de téléspectateurs représentent la 4e meilleure audience pour un match du NFL Thanksgiving Day dans toute l’histoire de cette fête traditionnelle américaine. Même si l’audience reste excellente, elle est néanmoins en retrait par rapport aux matchs des Cowboys des saisons passées. En 2022, la rencontre disputée par l’America’s Team avait rassemblé 42 millions de téléspectateurs (face aux Giants là encore) alors qu’en 2023, la rencontre Cowboys-Commanders avait séduit 41.8 millions de personnes. Une légère baisse qui s’explique par la dynamique des deux équipes.<\/p>
Une chose est donc certaine: même avec des affiches qui ne font pas forcément rêver sur le papier, les américains continuent à être fidèles au rendez-vous du NFL Thanksgiving Day! Des matchs de football américain qui font plus que jamais partie de la tradition de Thanksgiving!<\/p>
