Quentin Johnston<\/a> prouve matchs après matchs, qu’il est un joueur plein de potentiel. Auteur d’une saison rookie mitigée la saison dernière, il monte en puissance petit à petit en ce début de saison.<\/h2>

Avec 2 touchdowns ce week-end, Quentin Johnston est en pleine forme. Le receveur des Chargers de Los Angeles a brillé lors du deuxième match de la saison. Certes, cette performance est à nuancer puisqu’en face, ce sont les faibles Panthers de Caroline, mais quoi qu’il en soit, cela va mettre le receveur sophomore en confiance.<\/p>

Après de nombreuses critiques reçues lors de sa saison rookie, Johnston tenait à se rattraper, et à faire mentir tous ses détracteurs. Après seulement deux matchs, beaucoup ont été forcés de constater une réelle progression. Avec seulement 2 touchdowns sur l’ensemble de la saison dernière, il égale déjà son nombre de TD marqués.<\/p>

Chez nos confrères de The Athletic, Quentin Johnston a déclaré<\/a> :  » Tu ne peux pas t’enfuir. Je ne peux rien faire d’autres que de continuer à travailler. Travailler pour prouver que tout le monde a tort. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

L’année dernière, ses sautes de concentration et son manque de différences faites expliquent cette saison mitigée. C’est souvent les défauts des rookie. Mais avec du travail, et l’expérience qu’il a acquis tout au long de la saison, le receveur à réussi à améliorer ces différents points.<\/p>

Son entraîneur, Jim Harbaugh, a confié être extrêmement enthousiaste :  » Personne ne m’excite plus que Quentin Johnston. Tout le monde dans l’équipe aime vraiment Quentin, l’aime, et le respecte. Il continue de travailler sur les choses dans lesquelles il doit s’améliorer. Le plus important, c’est qu’il n’a jamais la grosse tête. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Prochain match ce dimanche pour Quentin Johnston et les Chargers. L’occasion pour le sophomore de continuer sa progression et de prouver encore un peu plus son réel niveau.<\/p>
